I am rejecting this response because: when the technician found the problem, he did not tell me I can repair by myself, he just went ahead and repair and charge me on thatBTW, does installing the capacitor in minutes worth $100?

Mr*** called our office to order a diagnosis on his air conditioner due to the unit not working? At that time, he was told it would be a $diagnostic fee to come to his home and diagnose the no cooling issue which he opted to do? During that diagnosis, our technician discovered a
bad capacitor in the customer's unit was preventing it from cooling? The customer was given a quote of $which included the $diagnostic fee and the replacement of the capacitor? At that time, Mr*** had the option to not repair the unit and only pay the $diagnostic fee, to purchase the part online and repair the unit himself or have our technician install the repair part for a total cost of $? Mr*** opted to have the the part replaced by our technician for $? The technician replaced the faulty capacitor which restored the air conditioner back to operation? Mr*** signed the invoice and paid the $by check at that time? Mr*** knew in advance how much the diagnosis was going to be before our technician arrived, and he also knew how much the repair plus the diagnosis would be? It was the his decision to have our technician replace the faulty part to have his air conditioner up and running that same day
