I VISITED THE MIDAS LOCATION TO PURCHASE A SET OF TIRES. DURING MY VISIT THE TECHNICIAN DID A BRAKE INSPECTION. I WAS INFORMED THAT ME BRAKES WERE ABOUT TO GO OUT ON ME. I BECAME NERVOUS AND FELT THAT THEY WERE GIVING ME ACCUARATE INFORMATION AND I WOULD BE IN DANGER IF I DIDN'T GET IT FIXED. THE COMPLETED THE BRAKES, TIRES AND DID A WHEEL ALIGNMENT. UPON LEAVING WHEN I ENTERED ONTO THE EXPRESSWAY MY CAR BEGAN TO RATTLE. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED AND INFORMED THE STORE. THEY INFORMED ME TO BRING THE CAR BACK WHEN I CAN AND THAT EVERYTHING SHOULD BE OKAY. I HAD SCHEDULED A APPOINTMENT TO GET MY FRONT LIGHT HOUSING RELACED. WHEN I RETURNED TO THE STORE A TECHNICIAN RODE WITH ME IN THE CAR FOR A FEW BLOCKS. WHEN I GOT OUT THE 2 GENTLEMEN TALKED AND INFORMED ME THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE MY STRUTS AND I NEEDED TO GET THEM REPAIRED. I ASKED HOW IS IT THAT I DIDN'T HEAR IT BEFORE. THE GENTLEMAN INFORMED ME THAT BECAUSE I GOT NEW TIRES AND BRAKES THAT THEY MAY HAVE GONE BAD. I SAID THAT FAST. JUST BECAUSE I GOT NEW TIRES. HE SAID YES. HE ASKED IF I WANTED A ESTIMATE AND I SAID SURE. HE GAVE ME A ESTIMATE FOR 1400.00. I SAID I COULDN'T GET IT FIXED TODAY SO I WOULD COME BACK THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY. DID REUTRN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK AND GOT THE LIGHT REPAIRED. UPON LEAVING I NOTICED THAT I FAN WAS STAYING ON FOR 10-15 MINS EVERY TIME I GOT OUT OF THE CAR. THIS WAS NOT HAPPENING BEFORE. I DIDN'T RETURN BECAUSE I WENT TO THE CHEVY DEALER. THEY INFORMED ME THAT A LINK WAS BROKEN AND IT WOULD COST 148.00. I WAS SHOCKED BECAUSE I WAS QUOTED 1400.00. THEY ALSO INFORMED ME THAT MY CAR FAILED THE ALIGNMENT CHECK AND I NEEDED TO RETURN WHERE I PURCHASED THE TIRES FROM. I CONTACTED COPORATE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS. I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THEY WOULD KNOW IF IT WAS BROKEN AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN QUOTED SOMETHING WITHOUT A INSPECTION. MY CAR WAS BROUGHT TO MIDAS ONE WAY AND LEFT WITH THINGS BROKEN THAT WAS NOT HAPPENING BEFORE. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH MY SERVICE.
To whom it may concern. We tried several times to reach Ms. but she has not called us back at the shop. Yes we quoted her struts and sway bar links for the front due to high miles and noise coming from the front but she declined services. We are glad she had the issue taken care of repairs. She also say that the alignment that we performed was not done, and had to be done at the dealer. We are more than happy to refund her $90.00 for the alignment that she paid with us on 07/13/19, but not for the sway bar links which we never replaced or charge her for it. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because: When my vehicle was taken to the repair shop the vehicle was fine. When I left there were issues that are occuring now that were not there before. My fan is staying on and the link was broken. I went in for tires. I was given a quote for something that was not a issue also. When my tires were replaced and brakes were repaired they would have known if something was broken. I feel they were just trying to get more money for repairs that were not there.
