my mother's A/c was not working, they had a sign for an A/c check for 29.99, my mom stopped in and told they to not perform any further repairs without getting her approval first, after about 45 minutes of waiting they give her a bill for 150 dollars, she did not approve work that was done or to have the ac system recharged, when I went back to talk with the manager he said he d only give my mother the money back if she returned for him to remove his freon, a whole 1.3lbs, I do not trust them enough for me to bring it back for them to do that.im afraid theyd do more damage to the care out of spite or anger.
On Monday March 5,2017 I took my van a 2005 gmc safari to check why my van was overheating.They did a diagnostic and said that it needed a fan clutch and a thermostat and priced the work labor + parts at around $400 so I agreed and they supposedly worked on it and I called the following day and they said my van was done.I went to pick up the van and paid them and I started to drive about two lights from theyre location the temperature gauge started to go high and I called them and said that the problem was still not fix .they said to bring it back so they can take a look at so I did.a started to talk to the mechanic and found out that out of the 4 things they were suppose to fix which I was charge for and have the written receipts wasn’t done .so the manager Robert *** blamed the mechanic and said he didn’t follow the ticket order and promised me that they will take care of it and do the work.so I trusted him and left my van again to get the problem fix.the next morning I called Midas and asked if they fixed the van and was told that it was .so I went to pick it up and the manager was not there but the owner sayed and a female employee was there to give me my key to the van and I asked if they fixed the problem he said yes so I paid an extra $93 for a work that they claimed they did that wasn’t charged from the previous bill.soi drove the van home and as I get home and parked the van the temperature gauge started to go high and I could talk to anyone because they were close by the time I got home and so I called them the following morning and told them that the van was still not fix.they suggested for me to bring back the van to them so that they can look at it again so I did.this time I asked more questions to why my van was still not fix and one mechanic said one thing and the other mechanic was saying a different thing so at this point I realize that they have no clue what they are doing.so I spoke to the manager Rob and he said he was going to speak to the owner to try to make it right with me and so as the day goes by I called him and ask what they were going to do and he said nothing he can do about it and started to make excuses and tried blaming me to why there is nothing they can do.I asked for some kind of refund and he said he spoke with the owner sayed and he said that he couldn’t give me a refund.so I consulted a lawyer and I was told to get a written statement from them that they are not going to give me any kind of refund nor fix the problem .I spoke to Robert and asked him for the written statement and he refused to give me anything.he then begged me to give him a chance to talk the owner and I asked for what you already told me that he wasn’t going to give me any kind of refund so I asked for the owners contact info he also refused to give it to me so basically I just paid $400 for a car that’s still not fix and is still in the same condition as it was when I brought it to them this place is a fraud! I am going to pursue further legal action.
