I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11518657, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, Mrs. [redacted] was not combative but just stating requirements from a business who dropped the ball twice.  A business must do what they say they are going to do (call back after 1st visit and submit a firm bid after 2nd visit). Neither a callback or bid was given thus making our trust plummet that the work could be done by this particular business.

Please know that we do value our customers and regret to hear that you were not satisfied. Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] did walk the entire yard together and discussed options for the best solution. There was an option given. It does take time to diagnose these problems. Unfortunately, we do not work...

for free. We charge $100/per hour with a one hour minimum, even to investigate a problem. [redacted] determined there was no continuity coming out of the backyard wires. After looking at the backyard which was so overgrown with plants, tree roots, rocks, pave stone etc. the possibility of locating the wire break or installing new wires was cost prohibited. Mr. [redacted] was going to discuss the option Mr. [redacted] suggested with Mrs. [redacted]. Mrs. [redacted] then called Mr. [redacted] and proceeded to tell Mr. [redacted] how incompetent he was and she needed an exact quote before we were able to do any work. After considering her demands and her combative attitude Mr. [redacted] felt it was best that we not proceed with any kind of future confrontation. We will be glad to refund the $180.25 as requested. This is the first we have been notified of the request to return the [redacted]'s money.  Thank you, Mid-Cities Irrigation Inc.
