I work in the health care field and I submit prior authorizations for patients to many different insurance companies, and I can say without doubt that Mid American Benefits is the worst company I have ever dealt withI submitted a pre-certification that according to them needed a peer-to-peer review done, but they refused to schedule a peer-to-peer and they don't have a line for the provider to call and submit the reviewThey then denied the claim stating that they tried to call my physician but could not get a hold of himI know this is a lie because any calls that are not picked up in my physician's office gets transferred to his assistant, but she never received this callI am still struggling to get this peer-to-peer taken care of, but it has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company They also refused to tell me the specific specialty of the doctor who denied the original claim, and they have been difficult to get any information from at allIf I could give them stars, I would
