The initial and only request made by Mr [redacted] was for the replacement of the transmissionWith all labor-intensive jobs such as transmission replacements, we perform inspections on all relative components before performing any workMr [redacted] was adamant to only replacing just the transmission by itselfWe do not perform other jobs that are not requested by the customer, all recommendations we provide for repair will not be performed without verbal or written authorization, and the only job that was authorized to us for work was only the replacement of the transmission with a remanufactured oneSince the transmission from Mr***’s specific model of the freightliner truck can be accessed without removal of the transmission cooler lines- we performed the visual inspection, found no visual leaks, and performed appropriate repairs originally requested from Mr***The work was all finished on December 2nd 2017, multiple test drives were performed and no leaks were presentMr [redacted] never picked up his truck until five days later on December 7th and even then, only his brother was present to pick up the truckMr***’s brother performed the test drive of the truck and also came to the conclusion that there were no issues or leaks with the transmission, which explains why he signed for the invoice and agreed to make the payment at the timeFor an untouched and “good condition”, secured metal cooler line to decompose and cause transmission leaks only ten days after a major job was performed is absurdWe would like to see more evidence on what part of the cooler line is ruptured and where exactly would the line be mounted improperly, or what exactly does the line “rub against” to cause the leakUpon further inspection of the Freightliner Bill, one will notice other maintenance expenses listed within the invoice that has absolutely nothing to do with the transmission replacementFor example, the listed cost for a radiator surge tank has no correlation to a transmissionThe Freightliner invoice, and Mr***’s demand for reimbursement on everything within that invoice reveals two things: his truck, despite its age, wasn’t maintained properly to begin with (noting all the charges for parts replaced), and to demand compensation for the entire bill that has nothing to do with usThe transmission cooler lines were secured, and never removed throughout the repair process because we were never authorized to do so, and the removal of the lines were not necessary to completing the original job properlyAll previous offers of partial reimbursement for the sake of maintaining customer satisfaction to Mr [redacted] have been revoked by him

I am rejecting this response because: Micky Truck Repair should know when they Work on Transmission, they need to Inspect on Related Parts of Transmission to see if they are rubbing with something and can cause leaksAs it says on [redacted] that Cause of Transmission Leaks is Rubbing of Trans Cooler Line Mickey Truck Repair Did remove the Cooler line and Put it Back when they Replaced the TransmissionMickey Truck Repair should have asked us to Change the Trans Cooler Line if it needs to ReplaceThey Didn't ask us because they knew the Trans Cooler line is in Good ConditionIt all Happened because of Rubbing Trans Cooler line After Worked Done at Mickys Truck Repair As [redacted] Medford Or, They always ask there Customer if Trans Cooler Line needs to replace We are not asking for the Extra Work ( Surge Tank ) or anything else work done at [redacted] , Medford, OrWe are asking Compensate for Our Expenses on the Same Repair we have Done at Mickys Trucks RepairAlso Our Truck was Parked at [redacted] , Medford for days, Otherwise Truck have done over $ k of work We made Payments and Insurance for the Truck Parked for DaysIf We add all Together it will go way up from $We are asking for $ to Cover the Part of Our Expenses We have GPS in the Trucks and it shows us the location of trucksAs Mickeys Truck Repair Mentioned, they Test Drives Multiple Times, it never doneTruck moved on 12-02- for mile total and no Evidence of driving miles from 12-03-to 12-06-We Picked up the truck on 12-07-We Put the Truck back on the Road on 12-09-and it broke down again on 12-18- Nine Days of Driving is the Enough time to Rub a Good Cooler Line to go bad and leaksThanks

Dear Mr***, Mr*** is one of our regular customers. He has had service at our shop for the almost two years. On November 25, 2017, Mr*** called and specifically asked me to perform a
transmission replacement for his worn-out transmissionHe did not ask for any further diagnostic for his *** except replacing his worn-out transmissionI did not have a transmission at the time and decided to help Mr*** to look for a used one since it was cheaperIt was around the Thanksgiving holiday, and Mr*** had decided to bring his *** and park it at my shop while I was searching for his transmission replacementMr*** was aware that I didn’t have a transmission for him and that it will take some time for me to find one. On November 29, 2017, I ordered the Clutch, Brake-Clutch, Grease hose, Gasket, and the Bearing-pilot to prepare for the transmission replacementOn November 30, 2017, I found a matching transmission from the *** *** *** for Mr***, which cost $3,I called Mr*** and informed him about the matching transmission, that was used, which he agreed to buy I started the replacement for his transmission as soon as I received itWhile replacing the transmission, I did not discover any issue with the trans cooler lineOn December 2, 2017, the replacement of the transmission was completedAfter replacing the transmission, I test drove his *** and there was no issue with the truckI texted Mr*** to inform him that his *** was completed and ready for pick-upHowever, Mr*** never came to pick his truckOn December 7, 2017, Mr*** called and said his brother will come and pick up his truck. His brother test drove the *** and was satisfied with the repairHis brother didn’t find any issue with the *** and signed the invoice for his paymentOn December 19, 2017, Mr*** called and said his transmission was failingMr*** informed me that his *** was towed to Freightliner, in Medford, and gave me their numberImmediately after I got off the phone with Mr***, I called Freightliner and spoke with ***He said the trans cooler line was the main issueIt has been sitting there for quite some time which caused it to rub against the engine block that caused the transmission fail*** also mentioned that there was nothing wrong with the transmission The reason why the trans cooler line was rubbing against the engine block was due to lack of proper maintenanceSince Mr*** is one of our regular customers and I would like to keep our mutual relationship, on December 20, 2017, I called and offered Mr*** to fix his *** with no additional chargeHowever, Mr*** refused and decided to leave his *** with Freightliner for repairThere was no contact from Mr*** since my last conversation on December 20th. Suddenly on January 4, 2018, Mr*** called and requested for me to pay for the bill that he had with FreightlinerI offered to refund him for the labor I charged for replacing his transmission and pay half of the cost for the new transmission he purchased from Freightliner. Mr*** said, he would need more time to consider about this offerThere was no contact from Mr*** since the last conversation with him on January 4th
