I had engaged Michelbacher Electrical to install a EV charging station on a post at my house. Shortly after the installation, the post began to show signs of chipping and wear that it should not have. I called them back out to confirm, which he did and he agreed to either get a repair or replacement from the manufacturer of the post because it was clearly defective.
This has dragged on for over a year with no resolution. I have sent emails, and phone calls to him and his response has been intermittent at best and he has failed to provide me a resolution to this issue.

Good day,
Thank you for taking my call and to listen to our experience with *** and his Problem with the Car Charging Station Post with the Failing paint.
I will be brief as per our phone conversation.
We helped *** with acquiring the *** Post he specifically wanted for his car charging needs, this was not available from a retail store so I offered to go thru my Electrical Supply wholesaler to get it for him at my cost.
After installation *** has noticed the paint on the post was chipping, cracking etc. After he told me of the problem with the unit I found and contacted the Manufacturer's Representative for *** and relayed the issue and the contact info for the customer. Apparently *** failed to handle this at all, and after multiple tries to connect everyone I gave *** the direct info. I cannot remedy a production defect so this in my opinion this is between the consumer and the Manufacturer to work out a satisfactory solution.
