In my years of residential development and construction I have never had such an unprofessional experience as I have had with Michealsen Construction If mediocrity and lack of accountability is what you are looking for then this company is for you Major issues that arose were simply due to lack of oversight and inspections Most contractors want to produce a good product and find ways to work through issues that ariseThis group was more concerned with skirting responsibility without any accountability and constantly complained about their margins vs acting in a proactive and professional manor A complete lack of communication at the end of the job,, to the point where it was blatant and outrageous Examples: When is a 1/4" seam in sheet vinyl, in the entrance to a room, filled with caulk,, acceptable? When is it acceptable for a Contractor to cancel a scheduled walk-through one hour prior to the agreed time, with a weeks notice? When is acceptable for a Contractor to not return phone calls, multiple times, at the final stages of a job? When is it acceptable for a GC to allow a painter to paint over thick concrete dust on BRAND NEW exposed A/C vents? The list goes on!
