Review: At the beginning of February I took my boots to Michael's Shoe Repair to get the heels and inside heel lining done. I paid up front for the work and was told they were going to be ready in 2 weeks. I was never contacted regarding my boots (not once, in fact) and when I called to inquire about them exactly two weeks later I was told they were all done and ready to be picked up. When I arrived there, turned out not only was the lining completely untouched but the new heels looked like they were about to come off and were just glued on minutes before my arrival. Next the staff member proceeded to tell me that I needed to drop them off again the following Thursday (almost a week from then) to get the lining done. I was also promised they would be done by Saturday or the beginning of next week at the latest and I would be contacted. After two weeks and not a single phone call I called the place and was informed that the lining was all done. Upon stopping out there and examining the boots it turned out the heels were in the same sorry state they were the previous time, however the lining had two crudely cut out squares of what I assumed to be some kind of cheap vinyl that was barely glued to inside and came off the first time I tried them on only to reveal the insoles ruined with glue all over them.I expressly stated that I was extremely dissatisfied with the work done and wanted a refund of the $34 I paid for them, however the staff member told me the heels were already on them and that a refund was not going to be issued.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund check mailed to me as I simply refuse to deal with the rude and inconsiderate staff of Michael's Shoe Repair that have no regard for their customers.
