options to satisfy Ms. [redacted]. After calling four times and only being allowed to explain one option without being verbally abused and hung up on, it was obvious the goal of the one sided conversation was to punish someone. My store manager called me at home to explain the drama taking place and my instruction to her was to tell the client we could not help her. I gave those instructions as it was obvious she did not want a solution.I returned a call the next day to her husband and found him to be as rude as his wife. Our store policy is "All Sales Final" as we have no control over the well being of an article after it leaves the store. That said, we work very hard to create a good result when given a chance and the time to do things correctly.I cannot pay my employees enough to accept verbal abuse and I feel that was the client's goal, not a solution.  I will be happy to replace the lock if a person other than [redacted] would bring it to the store.  The person should ask for me or the store manager, [redacted], to insure the best service.
