from Public Works Compliance Advisors/Crush-It Seminars (has been falsely advertising that his organization is holding/has held seminars at multiple National University campuses, though he has never rented any rooms from any National University campus for such events. Multiple attendees had arrived to the La Mesa campus expecting to attend the event they said they registered and paid for online/by phone with ***, only to find out that the University has no knowledge of said events and no record of speaking with Public Works Compliance Advisors rep, ***. After conferring with other University conference services reps from other campuses, as well as visiting Public Works Compliance Advisors website as well as their Eventbrite advertising, we learned that *** has been advertising past and future events at multiple National University campuses for patrons to register and pay for that he has never booked with any University campus. Multiple campus reps contacted *** to ask him to remove our information from his sites; *** claimed this was done in error and subsequently removed it. Two weeks later, *** has re-posted the false advertising again for multiple campuses. Campus reps reached out to him to demand removal and inform him that a complaint will be filed with the Revdex.com.
Thank you for contacting me regarding the aforementioned complaint against our company by National University back on April 11, 2018. In short, we immediately corrected the matter the moment National University officials contacted us back on March 6, 2018. For the record, we admitted that we errored when putting together a projected public works seminar schedule we wanted to hold in rented classrooms at National University. After speaking to a National University official in Stockton California by the name of Stella ***, we were under the impression that we were allowed to mention certain National University locations where we wanted to hold our upcoming seminars. But we were incorrect. As such, we immediately removed National University from our Eventbrite page and from our events page on our website. I would also like to address National's claim that several paid seminar attendees appeared at their La Mesa location expecting us to be there. Well, if someone appeared expecting to attend our seminar, neither Eventbrite nor our office have a record of receiving a single payment from anyone for that particular event. Since that date, no individual has come forward demanding an explanation for a refund. That's because no one paid to attend our seminar in that area. At any rate, please let me know if there is more I need to do to clear up this misunderstanding between my company and National University.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Alicia
