Review: Rented unit from owner while stationed in [redacted],[redacted].Upon receiving orders from US Army January **, 2015,this information was relayed to owner on January **,2015,after speaking with property manager. Updated owner that the unit would be vacated by February **,2015 as dated on Orders.Submitted copy of Orders to owner to verify. Owner asked for Chain Of Command contact information to question timeframe orders were rendered. This information was provided to owner. Owner stated normally 30 days is needed in advance before moving out to give time to replace tenant, advised owner of the date on Orders and that 30 days notice was not provided, and this is US Army orders. Owner stated after a walk through is done of apartment after vacating, any damages are reported and 30 days security deposit is returned. owner said he would get everything straightened out.Owner stopped answering phone calls and emails. Contacted property manager last on February **,2015,he stated he was cleaning the unit and to call back Monday and a checklist would be sent on our unit. Tried to contact,no response.Desired Settlement: Would like difference of Security Deposit to be honored, as my vacating was due to Orders provided by the US Government and copies were provided to owner showing 30 days notice was not given to me nor him. NO LEASE WAS EVER GIVEN.Left property February **,2015 with no damages,only tiny nail holes that had to be patched.Photos were taken as proof.Security should be prorated for 10 days that I remained in unit in February. Security was $1100.
