This inspector initially overcharged me by $50 for a home inspection. Apologized and agreed to reimburse the difference, yet it took a couple of weeks and multiple e-mail reminders before I received a check. He also missed a very obvious area of wood rot which was a $575 repair. When notified,he commented that inspectors have a "trained eye" and that he most likely noticed it, but neglected to add it to his report. He agreed to reimburse,I provided the receipt the day the repairs were completed, and it took several weeks and several reminders before payment was sent out. I have been in the house for less than a month, and continue to find things that should have been noted in the inspection report.
