MF Masonry and Roofing

On 24 Mar 2019, I hired MF Masonry and Roofing IOT repair/stop rain water from entering our house via the bricks of the chimney, through the attic and into our living room. According to his professional opinion, the issue was that the chimney needed to be re-pointed; therefore, I hired and paid him $1200 for this service, where he (quoting the invoice) "Re-point all brick. Seal all joints from brick to roof. 5 year warranty on workmanship." In Dec 2019, I spoke with him again as the above issue was not resolved and water was still seeping in from outside and down the bricks of the chimney. Based on his 2nd professional opinion, I hired him again on 22 Dec and paid an additional $800 for the following service and quote from his invoice "Tear down and re-cap existing flu and supply/install clover leafs x2". After that job water was still coming in, but worse than before, now in three locations of the chimney. After I explained this to him he came back to apply more caulking, which did help to partially resolve the issue, but water is still coming in at one location of the chimney, so the issue is not 100% resolved. After explaining this to him again, he said that he will come back on the upcoming weekend (3 weeks ago), but he did not. My wife and I left a couple of voicemails on his phone, but he chose to ignore us. As a result of this incoming water, part of the ceiling adjacent to the chimney is starting to crumble.
