I had a few tests taken in August I was called in to get my lab results 9/*/19 so I went to retrieve them on the afternoon of 9/*/19 ,The 1st woman I spoke to was kind and said she wasnt permitted to release my results. Time has gone by and being that I was told that I could pick up a print out and leave I was confused. I asked a couple more times if I would be able to get my results but was turned down each time. I'm not only curious as to what they're doing with my info and blood but am also concerned with how many other people are being used for their info and DNA. I think its outrageous that my own info and results weren't given to me and have no other way to file a complaint.

I went to the clinic the first week in January for a hand injury. I was seen by an NP and was x-rayed. I need copies of the records. I have requested my medical records multiple times and have yet to receive them. They have not acknowledged the signed HIPAA release form that I have emailed and faxed to them. I contacted this business to inquire about the price of a visit. They asked for my insurance and told me it was $125 so I decided to go to this location. After my visit, the employee told me my insurance covered it in full, she "checked" she said. Of course I informed them I had a high deductible and I thought my insurance wouldn't cover it, which is why I called to inquire about the price before I went.
A few months later I receive a $150 invoice from Metro Urgicare Hartsdale, NY. I head over to the *** location, and communicate my surprise with this bill since not only the employee told me it was covered by my insurance, but it wasn't the price I was told it would be. The employee present at that time confirmed it should have been $125. We both try to call the phone number on the invoice but it goes to a voicemail that doesn't seem to belong to this business.
After a few months, I tried calling at 8:30AM and was able to reach the accountant. She said she would check and call me back. She never did, I called back and said it was the price with my insurance, I insist and tell her I was told it would be $125 and says she will call back. She never did. In the meantime I get a letter from a collection company.
I decided to pay the full amount through my benefit wallet account after I finally realized they were completely dishonest and wouldn't change the bill to the amount due.
I got a letter from the debt collector saying they reported my debt to a credit bureau.
