Metro Self Storage

I have had a unit for 2 months now three months at Metro self storage. I was in the process of moving my stuff out of the unit. When I ended up in the hospital for a week. While I was in the hospital my access code to the gate was disabled. When I got out of the hospital I immediatley contacted the property manager whom vontacted me back and told me she spoke with her boss and they agreed to allow me to pay a daily rateand not the whole month amount and allow me to get my stuff out of the unit. Ive tried over five times and everytime the property manager isnt at the location im told there is no.wayt to contact property manager and have delt with the rudest person they have working for them. Now its been almost two weeks and still I havent. Been able to access my stuff. They are trying the fk out of me! They are trying to keep my stuff! Dont deal with this crook company!

After years of service I fell on some financial hard times and became somewhat behind in my payments They gave me the date of when my auction was to be held and how much I would need to pay to avoid auction They then held the auction three days earlier than they told me and I have documented proof which is why we are going to court and on top of that tacked on another $and please not rental fees they call it auction fees

Todd was completely unhelpfulHe wouldn't give me his last nameHe wouldn't even allow me to review the lease for the unitHe kept arguing with me about how insurance issues and how you couldn't do anything in the unitsI own a construction company and deal with contracts on a daily basisany company or employee that isn't allowed to show you their lease terms is sketchy!!!!

Review: When the decision was made to select Metro Storage as my storage unit, I was informed that I would be able to make payments online. I have had my unit for three years. For the past 8 months or so this company has been having issues with there online payment system. I have spoken to three property managers (every other month there is a new property manager) who I have compained to as well as left a message with the customer service department which the property managers have suggested I do and was told all three times that I would receive a call back and six months later I have yet to receive a call back, meanwhile, I am bring charged an additional $15.00 charge on top of my monthly fee's because of the issue the company has been experiencing. I was also told back in September that the problem was fixed. It is now March and the problem still occurs. I called again today andspoke with the same guy that I have been speaking with for the past 3 months or so who is ALWAYS extremely rude and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: Refund of late charges paid due to the companys neglect.
