I brought a furnace motor in to find out if it was good, and if not what was wrong with it. They said it would be checked out the next day and it was. As I suspected, the bearings were bad. It was cheaper to buy a new motor than replace the bearings. They got a new motor for me and transferred external parts from the old motor to the new one and had it ready to go mid day. I am very happy with the service I received and will go back for any other motor problems.
Review: I took a motor for a Ryobi table saw to have repaired on July 9 2013 one. At the end of July I went to the shop to check on progress and found they had moved. I left a message and got a return call saying they moved to [redacted] Since then I have called numerous times and left messages inquiring about the motor but have not got any response. I also stopped by the new address to check but it was closed. I have told my wife I could give them some slack, maybe health issues on something like that and unable to work temporarily. Tried again this A M 09/12/13 but no response.Desired Settlement: Would like an answer. Can it be repaired or do I need to come and pick it up and buy new equipment. Need some response. Home or cell phone. Home ph. [redacted] or cell [redacted]

Response:
the customer knew we were moving because he dropped it off when we were moving. I told the customer it wasn't worth fixing because it would cost more to fix then replace. A new saw was only $150.00 and he said he was going to give it to goodwill. The saw was put on a shelf to keep it out of the way with the move and when we removed it from the top self it fell and bent the saw witch I told him happened and he wanted me to replaced something that was already bad and witch he said he was going to give to charity. the saw was so old manufacture didnt even make that one but a differt model he said he was going to spend 300.00 for a motor for a saw that now seal for 150.00 I told he that he was going to throw good money after bad. so he asked if I was going to give him money for the bad saw wish I found a newer saw that had more options then his for 200.00 same manufacture he said thanks and I gave him the info so he could get it.
