Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:the driver is not willing to admit his actions that has led to this disputeHe has misled management of his conduct which includes not providing me with the signed documents.I did inform Scott F [redacted] the same day of the missing item.I truly believe the driver is not being true to what actually occurred.I have no other option other than to file with the Small Claims Court in San Diego to collect what I am entitled to Sincerely, [redacted]
On 12/19/Mesa Moving inventoried and picked up Mr [redacted] 's goods from his residence in Eagle, Idaho for transport to our warehouse The shipment was subsequently picked up from our warehouse by a long distance driver for transport to California On 1/19/the shipment was delivered to two destinations at Mr [redacted] 's request The inventories were presented to Mr [redacted] by the delivering driver for check off to assure all items were delivered According to the inventories, Mr [redacted] checked off each item delivered and made no notations of any items missing On 1/25/Mr [redacted] notified our office he was missing a carton of crystal As customary, we immediately issued a trace for the missing carton The trace came back negative Based on the documents we provided to Mr [redacted] all items tendered to us at origin were delivered to him at two different locations in California These documents indicate Mr [redacted] checked off the shipment at destination and signed that all items were received Therefore, United Van Lines respectfully denied liability for the alleged missing carton

[redacted] was quoted... an estimate to move his household gdods based on an approximate hourly rate. Due to unforeseen weather conditions this estimate went several hours beyond 'our original anticipated time. This was not a fixed rate quote, which in our business means that additional time is billed as incurred. It appears. that this was not fully explained to Mr. [redacted] .Our Credit and Collections Manager, Amanda H [redacted] , contacted Mr. [redacted] by telephone today and advised him that we will write off the remaining balance we have our books for his move of $318.61. Additionally we have assured him that this will not he reported to the credit bureaus or referred to a collection agency.We regret that Mr. [redacted] has not had a favorable experience with Mesa Moving and Storage but we hope that this is resolved to his satisfaction at this point.Best Regards,MESA SYSTEMS, INC.D/B/A Mesa Moving and StorageGail T***Controller

August 19, 2015 RE: [redacted], [redacted] — ID: [redacted] — Mesa Moving & Storage Order # [redacted] I am in receipt of the complaint filed by this customer. Unfortunately the complaint went to our Post Office Box which is rarely used or checked so I was not aware of the complaint until the 17th.Since the...
time the customer has filed the complaint we have resolved the issue. There was a misunderstanding between our move consultant and Ms. [redacted] over how our storage works at our facility. Ours is warehouse storage and stored in large wooden containers stacked within the facility, making customer access not near as easy as mini-storage. Access requires and appointment and additional charges. Ms. [redacted] had been working with our Credit & Collections Department regarding her storage payment and had requested to access her items on a specific date. That department does not handle the operational side of the business and the referred Ms. [redacted] to the Customer Service Coordinator to make the appointment. Ms. [redacted], unfortunately, did not contact the coordinator so the appointment was not set so when she arrived we did not have her items available for her and would not be able to do that on that day. This problem could have been resolved had our Collections Department included the coordinator on the email where Ms. [redacted] requested the date or had Ms. [redacted] contacted the coordinator directly. Ms. [redacted] requested to have her items removed from our facility so she could take to a mini-storage instead. We did not charge her storage for the month of August and her items were removed on August 18th. Ms. [redacted] has requested a claim form for a saddle that may have been damaged while in our care. A claim form has been e-mailed to her and will be processed when we receive the claim form back. At this time we consider the complaint with Ms. [redacted] resolved.
