Mervel Dachshunds

this is *** getting back to you for the complaint I submitted. Here is the whole story: I was scrolling online to find a puppy for my dad and I had visited a place that sold dachshunds and I loved it. The puppy in my local town was selling the puppy way over priced because it was a pet store. I decided to go online and try to find one for not as much. I searched “dachshund puppy for sale” and I scrolled a little ways down and saw this website of course I clicked on others to view my options but I really liked this one on their website “www.marveldachshunds.com” the puppies name was “Buddy” the website, (extremely well fabricated) Had a “buy now” option instead of just a straight up price, which I thought was legit. They sent me 7 pictures and videos of the puppy even with a selfie of the family whom I thought were selling me this puppy. Turns out those pictures were fake as well as the entire website! I was emailing the imposter for about 2 days asking many questions and he responded so quickly. He gave me instructions and even had me print out a form to sign. I will disclose pictures at the bottom. He then proceeded to tell me to *** his coworker $500. I only agreed to $500 and I said I would pay the rest when Buddy got here. ($750) He agreed and I sent him the money. After I sent the money my dad sends me a link to this puppy scam website warning me not to buy from that website that they are scammers! (Pictures disclosed below) I then requested my money back and he declined my request then blocked me and never answered my email again. Not only did I get emotionally attached to a fake puppy I lost $500 as well. He claimed that he would have a tracking number for Buddy since he would be flying down with someone and meeting me at the airport. All lies. The man goes by “***” clearly an alias. I don’t know if your business specializes in finding IP adresses but his email is *** I really hope this can be resolved. I just want his website shut down so no one else has to suffer from a mean scammer. I also would like a refund so I can use it to buy a real puppy. Lesson learned I will be sticking to local places so I can meet in person. Thank you!Sent from my iPhone
