TPO roof installed August 2016 is separating from the building. I have a five year warranty on defects.
We had a 60ml TPO roof installed-contract was signed 6/6/16- installation compeleted and invoice of $5250.00 was paid in full by 8/8/16. One of the reasons we went with Merritt roofing was the 5 year warranty on the TPO roof. When the roof was installed we questioned a couple of issues with the installation and were told then not to worry it was under warranty call if we had any problems. The problem is within a year of installation the roof is separating from the building.
I have been calling, e-mailing, messaging their website since October 2,2017. On 10/03/17 I called and talked to Brooke she said she would look in to it. Called repeatedly left messages, emailed them. Finally got through to Brooke on 1/11/18- she said someone would be out next week. No one showed. Called 2/5/18 Brooke said she thought someone had been out- she would make sure someone would be out. Again no one showed. Since then I have repeatedly called left messages, emailed and left messages on website to no avail. It's been 6 months of trying to get them do the right thing.
All I'm asking is for them to stand behind their warranty and fix my roof.

Merritt Roofing re-roofed our home 2 1/2 years ago but didn't seal the "dead roof" area properly and as a result the roof is leaking into the garage along the one wall. This especially manifested after Irma. I called the company at least half a dozen times over the last two months and had to leave messages with the receptionist who said each time that someone would call me back. I have had NO response from Merritt Roofing. I'm pretty sure this falls under Merritt's warranty.
I want Merritt to repair the roof properly so it doesn't leak or if they are too busy to do it I want them to pay me to have another contractor fix it. The bottom line is that this needs to get fixed and it shouldn't be something I have to pay for.
We spoke with Mr. on 12-5-2017 to let him know we would be out to look at the issues he was having. on 12-11-2017 Mr. M met with Mr. and resolved the issue there was nothing wrong with roof we installed it was the homeowners stucco .
Merritt Roofing finally contacted me on December 5 about my complaint. The owners of the company said they had a new office manager who did not pass on my complaint to them.
They came out on December 11 and sealed the area with a rubberized compound where the leak appeared to be coming from. Time and rain will tell if the leak is truly sealed.
At this point I would have to say that the complaint has been resolved.
Merritt Roofing recently installed a roof on my home. It leaks, causing damage to an interior ceiling. After hurricane Irma a ridge line of shingles blew off. Merritt promised to address both issues. They called and said a crew would be at my home at 10:30 AM on October 10, 2017. The crew never showed up. Moreover, Merritt can not be reached directly by phone, only voice mail. Repeated messages were left for Merritt to please call me - no response. The roof is within Merritt's warranty period.
Finish the job Merritt would honor their warranty and their word. Send a crew to my home and repair the damaged, leaking roof.
I would like to withdraw complaint number ***. Shortly after I filed the complaint the business contacted me and we have resolved the issue. Thank you.
