Review: I was seen and treated as a patient at the UPMC Mercy in 20011 and 2012. The first treatment result in a lot of bill payment controversy as the hospital kept writing me that I owe them despite paying about 1500 dollars upfront which they could not trace. This was eventually resolved afterover 3 months and several phone calls (payment eventually traced). The second procedure was for sleep endoscopy in March 2012. I received several small bills ranging between 60 dollars and 200 dollars which I continued to pay as received (in frustration). I ensured that all bills were cleared. I was shocked to get a collection request about a year after that I OWED over 400 dollars. I was reported about 4-5 times to credit agencies by this agent. I called UPMC and was told that I owed no penny and that this agency was told immediately that the report was made in error shortly after the debt was made to them and that I did not owe UPMC. I REPORTED the case to Revdex.com and the company dropped the case writing me apology letter (RE: Revdex.com Complaint Case#[redacted]Ref#[redacted]). I was again surprised to get another charges of 408.13 dollars from another collecting agency ([redacted] PH [redacted] who have now also reported me to the credit bureaus damaging my credit. I called UPMC, they could not trace all those payments I made after 2012 and insisted I owed them. This organization have a terrible payment record keeping which I suspected is intentionally fraudulent, to prey on unsuspecting patients. I will appreciate your assistance in resolving this case again.Desired Settlement: For UPMC to search their record and drop this payment request. It is fraudulent. This case was resolved in 2012, why now again. I believed I even overpayed UPMC and entitled to refund but will not go there again. This is fraudulent practice.
