On Thursday, June 1, I received written notification regarding a complaint from [redacted] M. [redacted] (ID [redacted]). This communication is regarding an ER visit on 4/24/16 for a dependent of Ms. [redacted].Thank you for giving our organization an opportunity to respond. Although stated in...
the letter this is the second communication regarding this complaint, it is the first communication the patient relations department has received. Please understand that a prompt response to any feedback is high priority in our organization. At this point, I am unable to identify the dependent of Ms. [redacted] to investigate her concern. Are you able to provide me with the patient's name and date of birth so I may positively identify and investigate the situation?Please be assured that Mercy strives to resolve all patient complaints in a timely manner. This is not response is not sufficient or accurate. On May 2, 2017 when I realized there was an negative transaction on my credit report I called. I spent hours on the phone with my insurance company ([redacted]) and with Mercy were we were not able to come to a sufficient resolution.
The patient was my son [redacted], Date of Birth 01/01/06. The date of service was 4/24/16.
