Vehicle originally came in for a battery replacement on 2/2/15 due to not using the vehicle. Client paid for repairs and vehicle was picked up. On 2/27/15 vehicle was brought back to service for an Airmatic Warning Light on dashboard, vehicle was diagnosed as a steering angle sensor and acceleration...

sensor. both items are part of suspension. vehicle repaired and road tested and returned to client on 3/23/15. on 4/23/15 vehicle was brought into service for a check engine light on. We found both engine harness would need replacement due to engine harness wires have fallen apart causing a short in the ground to the harness and will not relay power as needed. Engine harness due to age fell apart and harness would need to be replaced. We tried to find harness replacement part through MBUSA and no part available anymore. We also spoke to multiple outside harness shops to see if a repair to harness would be possible. We did not find a shop that would be able to repair harness due to age and condition of harness. Client notified of all repairs needed that are not able to be performed due to parts availability. Vehicle at this time unable to be repaired due to age of vehicle and part availability. All repairs performed are not related and found in different parts of the vehicle. Client's family member during this time was holding a loaner car without authorization and would not return vehicle. Vehicle was towed out of dealership on 8/14/15 as per customer request and brought to an outside shop of his choice. MB of Caldwell paid for the tow to shop for client.
