Review: Dear Sir or Madam:
I have been a loyal customer of Meow Cosmetics since December 2008, and this is the first time I failed to receive my order since then. Since I am living in [redacted], it is hard for me to take legal action against this company with my lawyer, thus I hope you can help me in this matter.
I placed and paid my order on 25th Dec 2014, and I received an email that the order was shipped on 6th Jan 2015. On the 11th Feb 2015, I contacted Meow Cosmetics' customer service via email to ask about the whereabouts of the parcel. Their answer came 2 days later, saying that I should wait for 15 business days and contact them again. After the deadline, I wrote another email on 5th Mar 2015 to them stating that the order is still missing.
Their answer on 9th Mar 2015:
"1) You can opt to wait for us to receive your order back to our offices. This can take 8 weeks or more for international orders, but we do receive lost orders back. When we receive it, we will contact you to confirm your address and you will need to pay only a reship fee - equal to current shipping - in order for us to reship your order.
2) You can choose to have your order reshipped immediately, if it has been at least 45 days since the order was shipped. If you choose this option, your cost is 50% of your order cost including the now current shipping prices. When your original order is received back to our office, we will refund the cost of the reshipment, less shipping."
According to [redacted] business law, both conditions are unacceptable, since the company is responsible for the correct delivery of an order once the customer paid for both order and shipping. It is also illegal to make the customer pay for mistakes of either the company or the delivery company. So I answered to Meow Cosmetics on 11th Mar 2015 that I cannot accept their conditions; they should either reship the order or refund the money of the order. After this, they ignored my email, so I tried to contact the owner [redacted] on her own email address ([redacted]) on 18th Mar 2015, also without an answer. I also tried contacting them on their Facebook Page, but they deleted my entry without dealing with the matter. Another customer on Facebook told me to contact the Revdex.com, since she also had non-delivery issues with Meow Cosmetics.
Until now, I have not received my order which was placed 4 month ago, and the company is ignoring my messages. Desired Settlement: Since their Facebook Page and their forum is full of people complaining about missing order, or the customer service not answering, they should be apologizing to each one of those customers, including myself. I also want a refund on my paypal account, since I will not buy from them again.
