Merchant advertises free trial, just pay postage and handling. In the pop up screen that has five pages (I later learned) containing a contractual agreement, with the click of computer mouse, merchant locks purchaser into paying full price of the product unless the purchaser cancels the agreement within a specified time frame. In this day and age, who takes the time to read these agreements? Upon complaint, I was provided a copy of this agreement in a more legible font. To the merchants credit, this requirement is contained within the first page of the five page agreement; however, I believe the merchant uses this laboriously, time consumingly, importantly communicating pop up box to entice the consumer to click the "I agree" box and move on. This is the nefarious deed! The consumer is duped into believing that he is getting a sample product to try, contemplate if the results are desirable and perhaps continue purchasing. Enticing ads with grandiose results implied, and explicit verbiage that you have nothing to lose shrouded in pop ups with long detrimental agreements are business practices that are NOT based in good faith.
