Follow up after the sale is horrible have not gotten any update on service requested at time of sale. Now when they call to say they forgot to do emission testing vehicle I asked about service and was threatened with if you do not bring in for emissions we will not issue another temp sticker. Funny I do not say I would not. Caller hung up after saying sales person would call me back. Which I doubt he will has he has done nothing to follow up with his sale. Hope the vehicle passes. I have reason to believe they would make sure it passes since they think they pushed off this dirty veheicle on me
We have resolved the emissions test and registration issue. The customer has their registration and plate. Mr. Schnuelle brought up another issue regarding a power mirror switch. We offered to repair the mirror. Mr Schnuelle brought the vehicle in, but would not allow us the time necessary for our Technician to diagnose, obtain the part and repair the mirror. He said he would fix it himself. We feel that we have addressed the issues that Mr. Schnuelle has raised.
The company Melloy Chevrolet is suppose to pay off a trade in car and it has gone into collections. Ruining my credit I'm afraid I won't ever be approved for a mortgage in the future. I've never been late on a car payment. I'be tried hard to fix my credit. I've called the dealership numerous times and they never return calls to let me know status. I got a notification from *** that *** has reported a missed payment & my score dropped 59 points! I trusted these people. I'm very disappointed with Melloy Chevrolet in Los Lunas, NM. I feel wronged, they told us not to make the payment for April 2019 on our old car that they would pay off car.
We have been in contact with this customer and have resolved the issues. It was my understanding that the customer was going to contact the Revdex.com to inform you that the issues have been resolved but I don't believe that has happened yet. Please let me know if we need to take additional steps to close this complaint.Thank youPat MMelloy Chevrolet
I went to Melloy Chevrolet intending to purchase a new truck capable of satisfying my towing needs. I had a 2017 1500 which I was trading in. I was told of a couple trucks which fit my criteria but was told they were out of the area and whichever I was interested in had to be brought in from the dealer they were purchasing from. When I got the "new" truck, it had 2825 miles on it when I was told it would have no more than 500. Other than the mileage, the detail job was poor and the fuel was on empty when it was to be filled. After driving the truck from Wednesday through Sunday I realized the issues the truck had. I bought it on a Tuesday night and attempted taking it back the following Monday, expressing my concerns and wanting either another truck, or to return to my trade in. I was strongly denied. The new truck has many issues including a loose driver seat, a vibration at highway speeds, very dimly lit headlights, a quiet rumble in the rear end and an intermittent "chugging" as if it's out of fuel when it is not. Melloy's solution was to get the truck into service. I refused, considering my buying experience thus far. I returned again two days later and had a discussion with the GM who was utmost adversarial and defiant. I was looking for a brand new reliable vehicle to tow with, instead I got a used vehicle with issues needing immediate attention and no effort from the dealer to make the deal right. I was charged a 2019 price on a used 2018 truck that had substantial mileage and mechanical issues.
Good Afternoon. This is in response to the above complaint. Mr. did purchase this truck on the date mentioned. His complaint about the cleanliness and not having the gas tank full was correct to being so late at night. He was to be back the nest day for us to complete both, but he never came in after repeated attempts to get a hold of him. Finally on 8/27/2018 Mr *** came back in and demanded his trade and money back because of small problems with the truck, but he refused to take it into service and left. When I spoke with him about what the real problem was he told me he had second thoughts and just wanted to drop it off and threw the keys at me. I would not take the keys and we finally convinced him to let service address his concerns. On 8/30/2018 the customer did bring in the truck and is planning to pick up his truck from service today 8/10/2018 and make sure it's all right.
As for the miles on the truck at delivery. It was a truck that had to be located from another dealer and it did have over 500 miles on it and this was explained very clear to the customer and he accepted it with 2815 miles on it. We have an odometer statement and buyers order that shows that plus a conversation with the customer.
The customer also stated that he was charged for a used 2018 at a new 2019 price. The truck he bought was a new 2018 and not a used 2018. As for the price this is the 1st time we heard this.
As for the GM being "adversarial and defiant". The customer was very upset with me over the fact we were not buying this truck back since it had already been funded at the bank and the titling was already in process. I though we were very professional in every way with him.
Thank you,
Joe R - GM - Melloy Auto Group of Los Lunas
