Used transmission
I was told we were getting a new transmission when they actually put in a used transmission that was leaking and squealing, also used all of the gas and ended giving me a flat tire and then they drove on the flat tire without fixing it and now they won't answer my calls and still have our vehicle. I would never pay $2,400 for a used transmission a rebuilt or remanufactured yes but not a used one.

We are proud to be one of the largest Independent Automobile Dealers in the Metroplex, selling approximately vehicles a monthThe majority of our customers are referred to us by other happy customers.We give all of our customers the opportunity to check out the vehicle they are purchasing thoroughly and to take it to their mechanicAlso all of our customers sign a delivery and acceptance form that clearly indicates that they fully inspected the vehicle being purchased and are happy with it.Our goal is to sell quality used vehicles by performing a very detailed inspection and reconditioning process for each vehicle soldUnfortunately these are still used vehicles requiring regular maintenance, with some of our customers very unrealistic with their expectations and demands as this particular customer.Additionally Mei Auto Finance, Incis a company that finances many of our customer’s loans and is fully compliant with all Federal and State lending regulations.Ms [redacted] has been an MEI customer since 5/27/Her payments are scheduled semi monthly; due on the 7th and 22nd of every monthMs [redacted] has called in every time to schedule her regular payment to be debited from her checking accountWe have no record of Ms [redacted] calling in to dispute a payment and or request a credit on her accountAn attempt was made to contact Ms [redacted] on 10/12/2016, Ms [redacted] then advised me that her last payment made on 10/7/was debited for $which was $over her payment amountWe also addressed her concerns regarding the conversation she had with a representative on Saturday 10/8/Ms [redacted] account has been documented that we will not call her until after the account has becomes days past dueThe extra $that was debited from her account has been applied towards her next payment due on 10/22/Ms, [redacted] was advised that she is a valuable customer and we appreciate her businessWe look forward to continuing our business relationship with her.We apologize for any frustration Ms [redacted] may have encountered when attempting to contact someone in managementMs [redacted] can reach our Department Manager [redacted] at ###-###-#### and she will be able to answer any of her questions and or concernsFor her convince she can access her account information, make payments, view /print receipts and payoffs via our online website www.myfexaccount.com Ms [redacted] will need her loan number which appears on the right hand corner of her receiptIf you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,MEI Auto Finance, Inc [redacted] ***Office: ###-###-#### Fax: ###-###-####AUTOMAX

Ms [redacted] became an MEI customer on October 16, MEI received a phone call on March 14, from Ms [redacted] sating the vehicle as located at [redacted] and that the manager [redacted] had possession of the keys she was wanting to voluntarily surrender the vehicleOn March 16, we received a call from a lady that worked at AUTOMAXX that our vehicle had been dropped off at their location after the vehicle had been in an accident while the manager from [redacted] was driving it [redacted] This loan was treated as a voluntary repossession being that we never received any correspondence from the Bankruptcy court for Ms [redacted] After receiving this complaint we have pulled the Bankruptcy docket and verified that paperwork was submitted to the wrong company therefore we were not notified that this vehicle was included in a Bankruptcy dischargeThe information will be updated with the IRS and reflect the 1099- C line as “A” We apologize for any frustration Ms [redacted] may have encountered during these timeShe can reach our Department Manager [redacted] at ###-###-#### should she have any questions and or concernsSincerely, MEI Auto Finance, Inc

This was not a repossession it was a surrender and also I did not receive said other calls to reschedule and I also did call again to complain so you as a company will never recieve another dime from me also I have posted reviews on your company none of them good so have fun with the p.o.s you sold me

Mr [redacted] purchased his vehicle on Friday June 5, from the selling dealershipOn Monday, June 8, on behalf of MEI Auto Finance, Inc, Mr [redacted] ’s account manager reached out to him to complete our welcome call The welcome call introduces the customer to MEI Auto Finance, Incand details and verifies the terms of the Retail Motor Vehicle Installment contract are true and correct The verification process includes confirmation of the following: (a) Year, Make, Model of the vehicle purchased (b) Payment frequency and amount (c) Defer down where applicable (d) First payment due date (e)verified customers information as accurate (f)discuss payment options available and (g)provide customer with our contact information On Thursday, June 11, 2015, Mr [redacted] received a courtesy email reminding of the defer down payment due date June 12, There were several attempts to reach customer via phone June 12, through June 16, 2015, were unreturnedShortly thereafter, Mr [redacted] made two arrangements regarding the deferred down that were unkept/broken On Monday, June 22, the MEI Management Team reached out and spoke with Mr [redacted] A mutual agreement was reached in reference to the deferred down paymentThis issue has now been resolved Sincerely, MEI Auto Finance, Inc

I have personally spoken to the customer and confirmed that her telephone number has been removed from her electronic file to prevent further calls to herAdditionally, we have confirmed proper insurance coverage on her vehicle and the insurance we placed on the account has been removed We have credited the amount of money she paid towards that insurance policy premium to her monthly paymentShe acknowledged that she has accepts and appreciates our efforts to resolve her complaint and we consider the complaint closed

To Whom This May Concern: Thank you for contacting MEI regarding [redacted] ’s complaint MEI has every desire to address Mrs [redacted] ’s needs; we have every intention to provide the best solution available to resolve any issue as soon as possible On September 28, we received a call from Mrs [redacted] She advised us that her contractual due dates should have imaged her pay days, to ensure her payments would be received on time At that time we advised Mrs [redacted] that she would need to go back to the dealership where she purchased the vehicle to have them correct the due date Mrs [redacted] did not return to the dealership to correct the issue Since then, we have performed a due date change to reflect Mrs [redacted] ’s pay dates, as well as reapplied payments to ensure that payments were credited correctly On November 24, we reached out to Mrs [redacted] and advised her of status of her accountShe was informed the contractual due dates were changed to the 15th and 1st of each month, as well as the payments being applied reapplied to be disbursed accordinglyAt this time this case has been closed
