Review: since I first rented from this management company there has been several issues that have arisen. First there was an issue of a carpet that was in horrible shape. stains, rips, tears and several pieces were glued back to the floor. The original laddie that showed me the unit said it was going to be replaced and as this issue went on for months and months it never was. I was finally told by maintenance that renting an apartment is like buying a new car, you get what you get when you drive it off the lot. The next issue was with the A/C, it took them months to finally replace it and put in a new one after I called in and complained several times. The third was a late fee that I was charged for being a day late for the rent, it was a forth of July weekend and I was out of town celebrating. There office was closed until the following Monday allowing me no access to the company. I went in the very next available day and paid the late fee of 50$ which I accepted responsibility for, my problem is that they tried to charge me an additional 50$ for putting up a very embarrassing notice on my door when they did not even allow me the time to go in and pay the original late fee. The upkeep and maintenance of these apartments is atrocious. Besides not replacing the carpets for years upon years as several different tenets come and go they currently have a bed bug epidemic that is sweeping through the units. They have done nothing to correct or eradicate these pests and there has been a stack of thrown away filthy mattresses next the the dumpster for weeks now. Finally, what was the last straw for me I went in to give my 20 day notice to move from this place yesterday on the 10th. The woman that I spoke with said she was not sure if my lease would allow me to move yet She recommended that I wait until she got word back from an email she sent to verify. I was eligible to move and now she is rudely trying to say I may be charged because I gave the notice a day late when I tried to submit it the previous day. :(Desired Settlement: I want an apology for her rudeness and to be able to move from this place without any penalties being that it was her fault I did not hand in my notice.
