On 9/9/15, I contracted Mega Limoz LLC to provide pick-up, wait and drop-off services on 9/27/15, from 3PM-10PM for 9 passengers ** the Miami Dolphins football game.
The driver, [redacted], arrived as scheduled at 3PM. The driver reiterated the required parking fee to be paid that would allow the limo to be parked inside the stadium lot (as detailed in the contract). Upon arrival the $80.00 parking fee was paid and there was no indication that there would be any deviation from the contracted agreement for the driver to remain on the premises. Shortly after 7PM, the clients returned to the lot to discover the driver and limo were not there. After searching the parking lot at 7:15PM, a call was placed to the driver to inquire on his whereabouts. The driver initially stated he would be back in ten minutes. As that proved not to be true, multiple calls were placed to determine his location. After 30-45 minutes of waiting, the driver finally admitted he was stuck in traffic and roughly a mile away. The driver advised the clients he could not in fact return to the parking lot and requested the clients walk to him. Following the roughly mile long walk, the limo was finally reached at 8:40PM. During this time I had engaged in multiple phone conversations with Luis, a supervisor on staff, whom at that point was able to return the $80.00 parking fee and advised to call back the following day. On the next day, 9/28/15, I spoke with Luis in an attempt to receive a prorated refund for the roughly 2 hours the limo was unaccessible. Luis only provided excuses and refused to admit there was a breach in contract, although he did admit the driver was terminated due to his negligence. When I attempted to follow the hierarchy up, I was told by Luis, his supervisors were not available and the owner [redacted] would be out of the country for the next few weeks.
To reiterate, the contract clearly spelled out that the driver and limo would remain at the stadium giving the clients access to the limo at any point in the 7 contracted hours. The additional $80 was paid to ensure parking on site in the stadium parking lot.
