He never apologized for his lack of personality and rudeness. If I were a manager at Medieval Times, this server would be fired, and hire someone who actually wants to be there and entertain guests like most of them do. Usually we get an awesome server who is funny, and very good at their job. Granite, another server on last visit, has been the best so far.
I was told that I won through email that I won 2 tickets last night. I wake up this morning and my name is no longer on the list. " computer" error or not this is uncool. I changed my schedule to make sure I can attend, we were super excited. Very unhappy with this.
Review: I made a reservation with Medieval Times' call center on 11/30/13 for a party of 6 for the 12/21/13 8:30pm show at the Buena Park castle. On 12/20/13, an emergency came up and I called call center in the morning to change the reservation for a party of 4 for the 12/21/13 3:30pm show at the same castle. I was advised that because the call center cannot handle refunds, I would need to do this at the castle before the show. When my party of 4 showed up and requested a refund for the 2 who could not make it, they said they were unable to give us one and handed us 2 "refund vouchers". I spoke to both the supervisor, [redacted], and manager, [redacted], and said this is not what I was told over the phone. (They specifically said the call center could not process refunds and the castle would be able to do this for me.) [redacted] advised that not only was the reservation kept for a party of 6, he had notes from [redacted] that 5 people were at the show (not 4 who were actually there or 6 like the incorrect notes) and there was nothing else in the notes about refunding for 2. The castle said they did not have access to my call or any additional notes from my call and told me to call the 800 number again. When I spoke to the call center earlier, they, once again advised that I would need to get the refund from the castle. This has been an absolutely frustrating experience. Apparently, the people who sold me coupons (that made me decide to visit Medieval Times in the first place), the call center and the castle are completely disconnected from each other and keep pointing the blame at one another... This has taken much of my valuable time (and money) without any resolution from any of the 3 offices.I have been a loyal customer of Medieval Times (specifically the Buena Park castle) for many years. My family, friends and I have attended the shows on numerous occasions. Needless to say, I will never give my business to Medieval Times and am never going to recommend this place to anyone again until my problem is resolved.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the 2 "refund vouchers" for a full refund of $77.95 plus any taxes charged ASAP.
Review: Me and my family went to the dinner and tournament. The waiter we had my fiance very uncomfortable he felt that he was flirting with me. during the beginning of the dinner I ordered a drink that was completely wrong and I asked the waiter to fix. He told me he would call the bar and have them come up. About half way threw the dinner I asked the waiter again to fix my drink since they still did not come up. He said he would call again. After he came back around to serve dinner. I asked him again if they would come up and fix my drink. He said they still haven't come up and called again. I then saw another gentleman and asked him to fix the drink. He responded I'll go get someone to help you and never came back. At the end of the show I had to walk to the bar to talk to them about the issue. All they had in response. I apologize whay kind of drink would you like now. It was the end of the show and I had to drive home. It was a little to late for my drink. They have horrible customer assistance. And by far this was one of my worst times coming. Not to mention it was for my son's birthday.Desired Settlement: Repair or refund the issue.

Response:
First of all, we would like to apologize if you thought any of our team members was disrespectful in any way. We trust that our staff behaves in a respectful way at all times when interacting with our guests. In regards to the drink order, we are looking at ways to improve the speed in which guests receive their orders. We serve almost 400,000 guests every year and sometimes our attendance can overwhelm our staff. We are looking to improve in this area and can assure you that providing a memorable experience is of our utmost importance. We hope to not have lost you as our guest and that you'll give us a second chance to prove to you this was an isolated incident.

Response:
I am rejecting this response because:
I feel like I should be compensated due to the extreme this went to. I understand staff are busy, but when I ask 2 different people to help me out and one never comes back. That is a little ridiculous. I also understand that it get busy. But when I ask them to get me a drink they get me a drink immediately but when it needs to get fixed they don't have enough time to fix it or from my understanding they are to busy to fix it. It should have not gotten to the point where I had to walk down there for them to attend to me. That was unprofessional and inappropriat.

Response:
We would have no problem inviting her to come back to see the show again as our guest…however, based on her complaint, I just don’t see why she should receive any type of refund. A refund of $400 because she feels she wasn’t served drinks as fast as she wanted?

Response:
I just wanted to give you a update that I still have not heard from them. I'm not sure if they have responded to you yet.
