Review: In January of 2013, I signed up for MediCode Pros to help me study and pass for a CPC Credential to work as a Certified Coder in the medical field. At first, everything seemed fine. We obtained our books and met once a week for studies. Then soon after, the instructor, [redacted] started to miss class. The absences became more frequent. Mrs. [redacted] did not have anyone substitute or implement a back up to teach her classes. There were times we would miss class for weeks, then during the holidays we didn't attend for 2 months. When another student and I approached Mrs. [redacted] with our concerns, she first seemed apologetic and tried to make it up to us by bribing us with outdated study guides. Mrs. [redacted] then stated that she would meet with us more often to help us with our studies. It soon became the same problem with absences and tardiness. The other student and I became frustrated. On one occassion, Mrs. [redacted] showed up late, she had a very poor attitude with us. We finished our studies and left class. The next day, the other student and I received a very hostile e-mail from Mrs. [redacted] saying that she was DONE with us, and good luck finding someone who does what she does. We were dismessed from class, which I feel is a breach on her part 1) for missing so much class and 2)dissmissal for no reason. I paid my tuition of $5000.00 minus a final payment of $250 because I missed a day of work to help Mrs. [redacted] proctor a 5 hour exam at her facility in Folsom. I would like my money back since she failed to instruct me properly and I did not get the services I paid for.Desired Settlement: I paid my tuition of $5000.00 minus a final payment of $250 because I missed a day of work to help Mrs. [redacted] proctor a 5 hour exam at her facility in Folsom. Response:
In 2007, I created a very intense medical coding and reimbursement program and opened Medicode Pros. Medicode Pros mission statement is "if you give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you will feed him for life." Medicode has taught a lot of people to fish and has changed a lot of lives.
