Review: I am disputing fees for labor charges to an [redacted] which I sent to Medicanix for diagnosis in November 2013. Medicanix picked up my [redacted] unit for diagnosis and possible repair. They left me with a defective loaner which shocked two patients. I wouldnt use it after the second complaint. I received an estimate of $592.28 for repairs the following week so I told Medicanix not to repair my unit. They took almost 2 weeks pick up their loaner and return my unit. I received an invoice for $592.28 for repairs that were never done. I called Medicanix to dispute the charges and spoke with John. He told me if Medicanix spent time on my machine, I owed them money. I explained I instructed them not to fix the unit-too expensive and the faulty Medicanix loaner which caused 2 shocks and upset those patients. He said he would speak to someone about the situation and call me the next day. He never called back. I followed up the following week with [redacted] and he told me not to pay the bill.I called [redacted] (the manufacturer) and a technician walked me through a few of steps which got my machine up and running with no cost at all!Medicanix came to get their loaner and dropped off my machine the next week. I received another invoice from Medicanix for $90.40.I wrote a letter (which I have for your review upon request certified mail with return receipt and a fax transmission sheet) )to Medicanix on December 2, 2013 explaining their dangerous loaner machine actually hurt my patients so I couldn't use it, their technician was inefficient or worse, purposely gauging charges to repair a unit I fixed with no cost. They were slow on customer service or any answers and returning my machine. I explained their loaner was faulty and hurt two patients until I rendered it dangerous and nor usable. I told Medicanix if they continued to charge me with this fee I would report them to the Revdex.com.They have since sent two more requests for payment.Desired Settlement: Eliminate any charges considering they did not fix anything tried to gauge me for repairs and to insult to injury sent their faulty EMS unit as a loaner which shocked and upset two patients and was immediately taken off the floor for use.
