Medal of Honor Moving Group Reviews (%countItem)

Kayla is the customer service representative that did not assist me. She talked over me, she was rude and her tone and attitude were beyond unprofessional. It is a surprise she has a position to talk to people. The service that she provided was text book in what not to do. I conference in our sales representative Chris and Mike who was going to be our mover- She was rude to them and did not give them an opportunity to speak and explain the circumstances of the service that I was sold. This interaction resulted in raised voices and her advising that she could not assist me and next time I should read my contract. Here are some of my issues with with is company and the service that was provided. 1. Dispatch provided me an incorrect pick up date. 2. The quote I was provided - via the pictures that I sent in was inaccurate 3. When attempting to resolve and rectify the situation I was presented with a hostile and extremely rude and intolerable customer service agent. 4. I was charged for a service that I did not receive. 5. I moved to Georgia without my stuff and will need go back to Minnesota and figure out how to get my furniture to Georgia.

Customer Response • Jul 10, 2020

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:My dispute has been longer about the money being refunded nor the contract. It is clearly because how we were treated during this process, from Chris misquoting me by 3 times under normal pricing that it would take to do this shipment and the way that Kayla handled my confusion as to why my shipment did not happen. I will refuse a 20% refund because after doing research within the company (Medal of Honor) I see that this has happened over 100 times with other customers. Again it’s not about the money it’s about the inaccuracies of the sales and dispatch and the rudeness of the customer service by Kayla herself.

Chris knew I was debating a drive with a Uhaul, but he quoted me something that sounded better than driving 1100 miles in a truck. He knew what he’s doing because of the time that I needed it done, and I fell for it.

I am no longer upset, however this should never happen to anyone else.

Regards,

Robert

REally good, professional service with Medal of Honor moving company. Moving is never really pleasant so I couldn't give them 5 stars just cuz it sucks in general. But they did a good job.

I reached out to this company in order to transport for my move from my home. I got a reasonable quote and was given a fast response. My quote was reasonable and I agreed to pay for the service. Once I got all my things gathered up they came out and hauled my things to my new home. I can say it was hassle free and made me very happy to be able to move into my new home faster because of how easy they made it for me! I was thrilled to focus less on moving my items to my new home and more on unpacking this was a great experience and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something easy and not very expensive.

I had to move from a two-bedroom apartment, and they were perfect for the job. I had one set price, everything was moved without damage, and they were super friendly. I don't like the thought of strangers touching my things, because I'm afraid they are going to get ruined, but not with this company. I also really liked how professional they were. They knocked on my door and began the process by asking me questions. Questions wish where do you want specific stuff, or what was fragile? They were careful to put all the more essential items, like the couch in the back, where it would be hard for it to destroy other things. I also loved how punctual they were. Everything was on time and moved. It took about 6 hours because I moved from New York to New Jersey. It was a delightful experience, and I can't recommend enough.

My family and I needed to move from Chatham, NJ to Chicago, IL (suburb of Lombard to be exact) for my work. I reached out to Medal of Honor to inquire about using them for my move. I told them that my company was paying directly for all the moving expenses. The rep got me all the exact info and contacts needed and everything was handled smoothly. The guys from Medal of Honor showed up on moving day and got straight to work. Needless to say, my wife, three kids, pets, and myself are all now moved without having to lift a box.

This company deserves zero stars!
They quoted one price but doubled it when they changed the estimate from what was originally quoted and agreed upon. The contracted moves only want cash payment and it's Sunday. They only worked for 2 hours, including packing and loading the truck. There wasn't much to pack. Don't know where my stuff will end up. To dispute anything, you have to file in Palm Beach County, FL!

Awful do not use. Gives u a low quote to get ur business then sends a small truck that could never get all ur furniture an when they have u between a Rock an a hard place they want thousands more to complete the move. I don’t think they have anything to do with veterans if so they r a disgrace to the veterans

We chose this company because they said they were run by veterans and that they supported veterans organizations. Big mistake. We had a horrible experience with them. Their inventory estimator did not go through all our household goods and said he didn't need to see our storage unit. The company that they hired was several days late, showed up late, half-packed boxes, and then told us we had to pay $3000 more than the estimate. They also needed an extra day to pack, which threw off our schedule. They didn't bring wardrobe boxes and crammed my wedding dress into a box. When I complained to Medal of Honor, they offered me $300 but said I would have to sign an agreement that I wouldn't post negative reviews. AVOID this company at all costs.

As a veteran I reached out to this group because they told me that a portion of the proceeds would go to support veterans in need. I was quoted $2560 for a two bedroom move. When the movers showed up they requoted the job at $5200. I was stuck because I needed to vacate that day and catch a flight. This is a very shady organization, do not believe or commit to anything they say.

This is just a broker / middle man company - not sure if the benefits of the services are actually helping our heroes and warriors (as they claim that this is in support of wounded warrior project etc). We moved stuff from SF to NY and the initial cost estimate was 2.5K and later bubbled up to 4.8k due to last minute demands and unreasonable demand for money ! They would not move out stuff unless you pay them the extra money that they will ask on the day of the move. So you're struck ! They engage different companies to lift and shift and nothing was properly wrapped while packing ! It's all DUMPED in a big cardboard box (for which they charge exorbitantly ! After we finally got our stuff we noticed many of the smaller items were broken and unusuable. A book shelf was also broken. Overall for 4.5k this is a huge scam ! Not sure if some of the 5reviews in this site are posted by their own people ! So stay away !
