I went to a doctor's appointment because I was having severe migraines and was passing out often at home alone. My husband is the Marines and currently on a ship training for his upcoming deployment. I was told by my doctor that she would write a note asking his commander to send him home since it was not safe for me to be home alone any longer. As a result of these migraines, I was no longer allowed to drive, which makes it very difficult for me to accomplish normal tasks, in or outside of my home, like grocery shopping. On Monday, October 27, 2014, at the doctors office, I spoke to an employee named [redacted], and was told by her it would be done on that day. On Tuesday, October 28th, I called in the afternoon to see if it had been sent, but it still had not been done and I was then told that they were busy and would get it done in the afternoon. She then abruptly hung up the phone on me. On Wednesday, October 29th, I called in the afternoon again and spoke again with [redacted], and was told that the office was waiting on a letterhead to write the letter and that it would be done that afternoon, yet again. On Wednesday evening before the office closed, my husband called them from the ship to see if the letter had been sent, he was told that it would be done the next morning. On Thursday, October 30th, the [redacted]t, also called the office to see if the letter could be sent, and he was told it would be done that night. I also called that same day around 3:30pm, and I asked [redacted], the person I had talked to everyday, again about the letter, I was then put on hold, and was then passed off to another worker in the office to talk to. While on the phone, I could overhear [redacted] telling the other woman what to tell me, instead of talking to me herself. I was then told that the letter would be sent by the time the office closed, which was at 6pm. It is now 9pm and the letter still has not been sent. I am VERY VERY upset and disappointed in the service received from this particular woman!Desired SettlementFirst, I would like the letter I requested to be sent, so that my husband can finally be allowed to come home.Second, I would like an apology from the office, for how things were handled and for the immature and disappointing service I received from [redacted].
Requested itemized bill 14 times. No responseI have called, emailed, and called again for a total of 14 times. I have requested over the course of a year an itemized bill so that I can turn this in to my insurance company. I have been given the runaround. I do not know why they refused to give me this information so that I could file this on my insurance to be reimbursed.Desired SettlementI am requesting the amount to be refunded that my insurance would have paid had I been given the proper paperwork to send in to them. $180.00
