In response to this correspondence (complaint ID [redacted]) the above condition as described by the complainant did occur as stated.  During the  summer months I experienced catastrophic failure of the A/C portion of my roof top HVAC unit.  As this did not happen last year, I was...

unprepared for this event, and failed to prepare as expected.   Because of this, the facility was not properly ventilated to provide a "cooler" atmosphere.  After this failure, I immediately made plans to install large industrial fans and place them at key strategic points in the gym.  Along with this, I opened all doors to provide optimal "air turnover" on both ends of the facility. Additionally, I tried to find a service repair technician and spare parts for a 25 year old system.  This proved problematic and extremely costly ...truthfully and unfortunately. As a small business owner struggling to make it, I was frankly unprepared for this event. The temporary controls I put in place did in fact address much of the issue. As we roll into Fall, I will be prepared to insure that next summer I will be able to meet expectations. Sincerely. Mark  R.
