The Warranty Company honored the claim and replaced all components with BMW OEM stuff I paid $4,for the warranty but the repairs exceeded $25,I am very grateful that I purchased the warranty through this company They are all aces

On January 20, 2014 we
received a call from the shop where **. [redacted]’s vehicle was. The mechanic stated that oil was leaking from
the rear main seal and the head gasket of **. [redacted]'s vehicle.
Oil leaks are not covered by...
**. [redacted]’s warranty.
As stated on the front page
of the contract between Mechanics Choice Warranty Co. and **. [redacted], “The
following systems and equipment, subject
to any exclusions listed in Paragraph 4 are covered by this warranty.” (See Attachment)
At the bottom of Paragraph
4 in the line marked “Note:” it clearly states that the “head gasket covered if
compression or coolant is leaking.” These are the only circumstances where the head gasket is covered. (See Attachment)
Further, Paragraph 4, C
specifically lists “oil or fluid leaks – excessive oil consumption” as a item
not eligible for warranty coverage. (See Attachment)
The sales brochure clearly
states that, “This is not a contract.
The content of this brochure is limited by its size. The entire terms of this agreement are
available from the selling dealership.”
The contract between **. [redacted] and Mechanics Choice Warranty Co. is the only
legal agreement between the parties. (See Attachment)
Unfortunately **. [redacted]'s oil leaks are not covered by his warranty.
It has been a pleasure to work with Mechanics Choice for the last 3 years. Our customers are very pleased with their services and their customer service is excellent. The owner is hands on and very easy to reach and will do anything to assist. Highly recommend Mechanics choice!

In our initial response, we responded to the Customer’s “Desired Outcome”
which was “repair.” The issues with his vehicle, (which were fully explained in
our initial response), are not covered as stated in his contract.
With regards to the suggestion that the advertising was
misrepresenting our service, the full brochure header text referenced by the
Customer includes an asterisk at the end of the header in the same size font as
the rest of the header text. The full
header reads as follows: “ The following systems and equipment are covered by
this warranty* ” The asterisk refers the reader to a footnote in the brochure
which states, “This is not a contract. The content of this brochure is limited
by its size. The entire terms of this
agreement are available from the selling dealership.” The
footnote directs the reader to the “terms” of the agreement. The “terms” define the specifics of
coverage.
The purpose of advertising brochure, in any industry and for any
product, is to outline the general benefits of a product or service and is not
considered to be legal document. The
advertising brochure must include a disclaimer that refers the reader to the
legally binding agreement. Our brochure
meets all applicable advertising standards.

Review: I bought a vehicle form a used car dealership and the vehicle was sold with Mechanics Choice warranty. I noticed that my car engine was having a problem so I called Mechanics Choice and they told me to take it to my mechanic and they opened a claim. My Mechanic identified that the head gasket needed to be replaced to fix the problem but Mechanics Choice was not going to cover it. I did not understand why they would not cover it because my vehicle is still covered under the warranty and the brochure clearly states that the head gaskets are included in my package. I called warranty company and they told me that the part is only covered if the head gasket failed from leaking coolant or compression but if it leaked engine oil it was not covered. I called the car dealership about my problem and they told me that the this was not an existing condition or caused by an accident or neglegence so we both were mislead by this brochure that boasts an A+ Revdex.com rating on it.Desired Settlement: I would like the warranty company to honor what they said they would cover in their advertisement, and stop tricking people with loopholes in their contract.
