The vehicle arrived at mechanical motion in November of with the complaint of the passenger floor getting wet and the windshield fogging upthe vehicle was pressure tested and mechanical motion found the heater core to have a leak, causing the passenger floor to become contaminated with
leaking antifreeze. we installed a murray heater core supplied by one of our parts suppliersthe parts and labor have a one year warrantynever was it stated that there was a 200,mile warranty. the customer is now stating that mechanical motion cracked the dashboard years later, this was never brought to our attention after the repair until now. the customer did bring the vehicle back after approxnine months and once again we found the heater core leaking. we contacted our parts supplier and our supplier warrantied the replacement heater core and mechanical motion warrantied the labor and replaced the heater core once again, at no cost to the customerthe customer also states that the radio wires were cut, once again this is the first time mechanical motion has heard about this accusation, after three years not after the repair. the radio is an aftermarket radio that was installed by another shop prior to mechanical motion working on the vehiclethe heater core is not located close enough to the radio for the core to leak onto it the liability and or responsibility of the radio installation is not incurred by mechanical motion. the customer again returned to mechanical motion with a coolant leak after approxsix months, we again warrantied the parts and labor and installed another heater core which had a leakthis again was at no cost to the customer. mechanical motion and the parts supplier have warrantied and covered the cost of all the repairs over the three years without question, the parts and labor warranty on this vehicle has expiredit is unfortunate there has been numerous part failure problems, but mechanical motion feels that we have done everything we can to repair the vehicle and take care of the customer
