As this time of year comes around it is not unexpected or uncommon to have long wait times for estimates to be given on repairs. The average repair shops in Corpus Christi have welt times that can average anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, we however have made It our personal goal to not get any further than two weeks behind barring any unforeseen events. With that being said the customer In question waited exactly four days to get his machine repaired. All estimates are just as they say "estimate" an pproximate calculation or judgment of the value, number, quantity, or extent of something. he charges are as follows 35 dollars for one half hour of labor, which is what we charge to emove a starter assemble from the machine, restring it, rewind it and reinstall it. We charge 50 cents per foot of starter rope which in this case was three feet, A new starter handle was a 13,1 for that machine and the 5 dollar shop supplies is the rate which every customer is charged for chemicals used to facilitate any repair. I.E. gasoline to start the machine, cleaner to clean an unmaintained machine and various other things that don't get itemized in the bill. Asi for the response of the "girl" we fully stand behind all my employee's when a customer comes into the store cursing or acting in a belligerent manner, It is unnecessary to curse at or treat anyone in that manner if there is a problem it can be resolved in a better way. This is a family store that frequently has small children in it and the management will be happy to escort anyone out that cannot act in a respectful manner at all times while in the store out of the store.
