McPeak's Tree & Landscaping

I have used McPeak's for firewood as well as tree removal for a few years now and I have always been impressed. I've never experienced "price gouging" as mentioned in another review. They've always been VERY competitive in their tree removal pricing and usually wind up being the least expensive. I've referred them to clients and all of them have been very happy!

Do not recommend the business. My experience with Gary M[redacted], after June 16 service, is that he engages in price gouging. He quotes a price, then as tree pruning proceeds he identifies additional, questionable work, and charges an excessive price. His tree climbers call out a so called dangerous,safety situation, "the tree is damaged, it could break anytime".
I compare this to a car repair shop, your car is getting routine service, the hood is open, suddenly you get a panic call," your timing belt is torn it could break anytime".
So, the price I paid M[redacted], nearly doubled the original quote.
A word to potential future customers, " let the buyer beware"

McPeak's has been my go to arborists for more than three years, and I have absolutely no complaints -- they are prompt, efficient and obliging. They have taken down several large trees in tight spots and never injured shrubs or trampled flower beds in the process. My experience with them has been that they are honest, hardworking and reliable. They show up on time, do a professional job, are quite capable of handling large trees, and are polite and helpful to the homeowner
