MCL Custom Controllers

After using the product a few times we noticed an issue with a ringing noise when headphones were used with the ps4 controller. Ryan said that he would repair it for free if we sent it back, so I did (with insurance). Ryan claims that he did not receive the product and refuses to truly address the loss, stating that it is not his responsibility as it is not in his possession. I have spent months filing claims with USPS, but they finally rejected my insurance claim stating that the controller was 100% delivered (and scanned at the time of delivery) to the address provided by Ryan. I could not file a claim with ***, as it had been over 180 days and was automatically rejected. I mentioned to him that I might have to file a small claims court case against him to make back the $160 I spent on the controller (not including the price I paid to ship it back to him), but you have to be present on the day of court and I am financially unable to make a trip to Florida. I have tried keeping Ryan up to date on the process, but he has stopped responding to my emails. My fiance tried to contact him over social media, and he promptly blocked my fiance and also refused to respond to him. I would not trust the 100% lifetime guarantee he claims to have. On my end, all I can see is that the product was delivered to him, and there is no way for me to prove that he does not have it.
