Dear Sir, I have attached info from a forum on the particular code pulled that describes what other people have found with the secondary injection pump issues and what was recommended to correct the problem and the expenses others charge Although everyone is seeking advice, many said that the issue returned if it wasn’t fixed properly Since I am not aware of each and every RO that is written specifically, or the specific vehicle dates on each bulletin Toyota puts out, I do research them whenever a customer has an issue That is why I researched yours in the national data system with Toyota while you were with me We are very sorry that you feel we may have been trying to take advantage of your situation, but with Toyota, their motto is “Fix it right the first time” As I had said to you, I totally understand your frustration We have replaced many injection pump systems here at the dealership under the bulletin coverage, and many customer pay Under both situations, we have never seen the customers back with the same issues I don’t understand why Toyota has not addressed this issue on the 2005-models since I have read that many have had the same issues The Service bulletin fix was only on 2007-models I will be glad to refund you your $for the dissatisfied service Sincerely [redacted] Service Manager McDonough Toyota

As I had said to you, I totally understand your frustration. We have replaced many injection pump systems here at the dealership under the bulletin coverage, and many customer pay. Under both situations, we have never seen the customers back with the same issues. I don’t understand why Toyota has not addressed this issue on the 2005-2006 models since I have read that many have had the same issues. The Service bulletin fix was only on 2007-10 models. I will be glad to refund you your $95.00 for the dissatisfied service. Sincerely [redacted] Service Manager McDonough Toyota
