On April 19th, 2017 McDonald Automotive Group purchased Mazda of [redacted] from a private individual. Is was strictly an asset purchase meaning we bought vehicles, equipment, computers, etc.... We were unable to operate out of the existing location and secured a lease for a property a couple of miles...

away. The property did however needed remodeling so yes, service for both Mazda stores is performed at our existing Mazda store on south [redacted] until the new location on [redacted] is ready. Because this aquisition was an asset purchase we did not assume any contracts, advertisements, etc from the previous owner. We understand it is very frustrating for the Mazda of [redacted] customers to have their free oil change promise from the previous owners cancelled. We are offering a complimentary first free oil change to those clients and hoping we can provide them with excellent service. I apologize on behalf of the Mazda staff if this was not communicated clearly, I can understand the frustration.
