McCurley Integrity Honda takes all matters such as this very seriously I understand that having a mechanical breakdown on one’s vehicle can be very stressful and taxing especially for someone that has just recently purchased the vehicle The component that Toyota of Tri-cities diagnosed
as being the cause for the noise has not failed It was not faulty or making noise at the time of the inspection nor was it making any noise at the time of purchase The ABS Actuator is not a covered component under the warranty that the vehicle was sold with and is not the responsibility of McCurley to fix However, we have given the customer a loaner vehicle to drive at no cost to her and she still has this vehicle as of today We originally offered to exchange the vehicle for another similar type of vehicle that was the same price range as the one she had bought but with approximately 40,miles less on the odometer She didn’t like the vehicle so we then told her we would credit back the entire amount she paid for the vehicle towards any vehicle she chose Since this still does not satisfy the customer’s wishes we will replace the ABS Actuator We have tried several times to reach out to the customer with no response The phone number that we have for her just rings and then goes to the generic answer telling us “that voicemail has not yet been set up” We will continue to reach out to the customer and when we are able to reach her we will make arrangements to get the part replaced.We believe that we have gone above and beyond the dealerships written policies and procedures in order to try and come to a resolution with this customer We hope that the customer will be in contact with us soon so that we can fix her vehicle and finally put closure to this matter for all parties.Josh M***General ManagerMcCurley Integrity Honda
