I have had nothing but trouble from McCormick Ellington Telcom. Not only are their representatives rude but they will not offer me any type of internet except the absolutely slowest internet package which costs $80 because they force you to pay for a home phone as well, even when it is not needed!
I cancelled my services in October 2019 because the internet was so slow I could barely do a google search. They cancelled my services the day I called in, even though I had paid in advance for the following month. When I called back in to ask if they would just leave it on until I had used what I had already paid for, they declined.
When Covid-19 became an issue and my husband needed to work from home, I called and had the internet turned back on, keep in mind its very small town & we can not get internet services from anywhere else. I had it turned on 3/30/20. When I called 4/30/20 to pay my bill, it was $180. They changed me for the month I used and for the following month because they "bill in advance". When I explained that I had lost a month in 2019 because they cancelled my internet one month before they should have, they explained that "It was a loss".
It seems every time I deal with McCormick Ellington Telcom, it is always a loss for me, the customer.
Our company cannot release any information regarding proprietary business relationships we may, or may not have, with any parties.

I am rejecting this response because:
There is absolutely no resolution. McCormick has zero desire to right their wrongs & are not concerned with helping their customers or their community. As long as they can charge outrageous prices for terrible service & there are no competitors because of the location, they do not care that they are taking advantage of people in their community.
