Mays Asphalt & Paving Company

I hired Mays Paving Company to widen and resurface my driveway in March 2017. They did the work; however, the driveway was not widen to specified dimensions and also workmanship was not up to par. Cracks appeared in the driveway and chunks were falling from the side. Gravel started coming out from between the old and new driveway. Grass was appearing in driveway cracks (spraying to kill the weeds was part of the contract). The driveway had a one-year warranty. I started calling the company to complain way before the one-year mark. I did finally get the owner to come by my house to check it. He agreed that it was not as wide as originally agreed upon, and they would widen it and fix the driveway next time he had a job in this neighborhood. By this time, the warranty had expired. He said not to worry about the warranty, he would fix it. Months went by, I called several more times, but he would not return my calls. He did finally call and leave a message on my phone that it would be fixed by mid-August. I made numerous phone calls after August, but no one would return my calls. On my last phone call to the company, I mentioned making a complaint to the Revdex.com. I waited a few days and no response. So I decided to file this complaint. It is now October and my driveway is not fixed.

Mays put a overlay on my drive way in April and in June I called them and told them it has a Dip in the bottom of the driveway and several humps up the driveway and marks left by their roller. I talked with the girl in the office and she said she would give William the message he never called back after several attempts 4 to 5 weeks with about 10 or more phone calls that were not returned I put a review on their website and you can read his response on their website He sent me a telling me that my driveway is almost perfect and he did admit that there is humps in the driveway I told him I would mark all the spots with chalk I did and sent him a message this morning NO RESPONSE so I called this afternoon NO ANSWER I sent him a texted NO RESPONSE After 2 Months my driveway should not be coming apart

The contract stated specifics and the driveway was short about a foot, also have not been able to reach anyone to discuss this issue.
We hired mays asphalt and paving to pave a new driveway for our house, proposal was dated 4-13-17, work was done in June, 2017. William (the son) gave us the bid and detailed what they were going to do. William Mays' Father then comes out with workers and started the job and did not lay as much gravel down as was stated in the contract. Contract stated 6", only gave us 3-4", nor did they pour a 12' pad like was stated in the contract. They only gave us 10.8 down to 10.2. The father and William gave us excuses for the gravel, but we have not been able to contact them to dispute the 12' pad they did not give us. We were told they would come out this summer and seal the driveway, we have yet to be able to contact them to get this sealed either. Wondering if they are still in buisness.
