When I first moved into Mayfair apartments, I loved them! They were owned by Crawford hoying... About 2 months after I moved in, new management by the name of AMG Realty group and it went extremely down hill. I let them know that my basement window was broken when I came home from work and they told me that it will take 2 weeks for them to fix it, they put a wooden board up there and it literally has been 3 months and it's still not fixed. I notified Mayfair back in April that when it rains, it literally rain in my home,in my bedroom, my dinning room and in my daughters room. I was told by Tara that it will be fixed and nothing has happened, my fiance and I walked through our apartment together because of the wet smell, we have found black mold. I have pictures as well, there is big dark brown spots on my bedroom ceiling and also on my living room ceiling from from the rain, it looks like my bedroom ceiling is going to fall in, in my daughters room the wall where her window is has black mold and when you touch the window it crumbles because of the wetness that has set up in it. There is a huge water pocket inside my dinning room wall from the rain. There are cracks running through my ceilings, I have notified Mayfair apartments on several different occasions and still nothing has been done. Mayfair also has on record that my kids and I have asthma. I was without air for a whole month before they fixed it. I had to threaten them with code enforcement. My wall socket caught fire, I notified them the time that it happened, when it caught fire my kids and I were home, it knocked out all of my electricity upstairs, I called them numerous of times and it took them a week and a half to fix it. When my air went out, they told me to freeze water bottles, get box fans and place the water bottles behind the fans and turn it on high to cool my home off, come to find out the fire detectors does not work. I have changed the batteries and still nothing.
