On Jan. 27, I met Kerry R., the installer. Kerry was on time, prepared and got to work right away. He explained the process to me, answered my questions and made me feel confident that this experience was going to be great and successful. He finished within record time and the result is marvelous. Just what I WANTED and needed. Kerry and Eric contributed to the success of this story and I am beyond thrilled with the result. I wish there were more stars!
This is just a sample of the things they screwed up. I haven’t even talked about the furniture and flooring they damaged.
A big thank you to installer, Justin, who did an excellent job. He is a professional. He worked quietly and efficiently.
Also, thank you to sales associate, Bo Battle, who did well convincing and steering us to getting what we wanted in the new shower.
Max Home with its fine employees, service, and product is highly recommended by me Carl and my Wife Ann Maire, Defuniak Spring, FL.
A big thank you to installer, Patrick Meyer, who did an excellent job. He is a professional. He worked quietly and efficiently.
Also, thank you to sales associate, Mike Mele, who did well convincing and steering us to getting what we wanted in the new shower.
Max Home with its fine employees, service, and product is highly recommended by my husband and me, Ron and Goldie Kruse, Luling, LA.
I have used MaxHome twice now - my first AND last time. $15,000.00 patio installation in 2014 has leaked from day one. After four attempts to repair the leaks, I have now been trying since September 2017 to get someone out to try again (it is now April 9, 2018). After two months of trying to contact them by phone this time around, I finally responded to a sales email and got someone to call. Set an appointment for someone to come out - no show and no courtesy call to cancel or re-schedule. Set another appointment, and they send a man who doesn't know how to do the repair. I was told they would send the man who performed the installation, even though he now worked in a different department (This is January 2018). Never heard from him. Called in February and was told he no longer worked for MaxHome and it would be several weeks before they could get someone trained. I called again in March, got a new person and appointment for April 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.. Guess what? No-show and no call to cancel. I called the lady who has to schedule these mns; She put me on hold, then comes back and tells me she can't get him on his phone, but that she would have him call right back. It is now 1:00 p.m. and I have yet to hear from anyone. Between these three misfires, I have lost a full days pay since I don't get paid when I leave work for these appointments. My next stop is to Home Depot to complain about their choice of contractors to perform work on products they sell.
Extremely rude sales person, was extremely downgrading and rude to my husband when we decided not to go with this company because we felt we found the same quality at a much more reasonable price. He down graded us by saying " you could not afford our company". He knew nothing about our financial situation and was only mad because we went with a competitor. He definitely does not have the best interest of his clients in mind. Only out to make a buck. Well guess what, he lost my buck and anyone else I may have referred to them. Too bad, so sad!!! If you cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen!!
Review: Horrible customer service. My wife and I had a [redacted] Home Representative come out on a Saturday to give us a quote on a patio, my wife wrote a check out for the amount quoted. On Sunday during a bad rainstorm I was in a auto accident. My wife called immediately Monday morning to stop the services and request the check to be mailed back to our house. After many failed attempts to have a call returned over a two week period, it wasn't until I called and threatened the Revdex.com that we received a "courtesy customer service call" to let us know that our project was ready to go. WE DO NOT WISH TO DO BUSINESS with [redacted] HOME out of NEW ORLEANS, LA. Ph number [redacted]Desired Settlement: [redacted] Home must get the hard inquiries off of our credit report, after all, we called numerous of times before our credit was run to stop the services and yet our social security numbers were still ran.

Response:
We are in receipt of complaint.
I am sorry the customer was not able to reach us. Our notes show they called in on the 19th to cancel the contract and we attempted to reach them before that.
We are processing the cancellation and will cancel the contract.
We apologize but will not be able to affect the credit inquiries in anyway as they have already been run.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

We attempted to call before the credit was ran but proceeded to get hung up on. And no calls were returned. We attempted to contact before credit was ran but was hung up on. It is not my problem that you didn't return my call. So as far as the inquiries on my credit you need to contact all 3 credit bureaus and dispute it through them.

Response:
We will contact the companies that credit was requested for and ask them to try to remove inquiry.
We understand the issue and will try to help.
Please do understand that we have no record of any contact and also that all cancellation requests must be in writing.

I would be more than happy to go to my cell phone company and pull my phone records and highlight ever time me or my wife tried to call numerous times over a 2 week period. This will be off my credit record. As far as the cancelation fees for my checks I wrote I will cut those as a lose but the inquiries on my wife's and I credit will be off or I will get a jag attorney involved and we will have it settled in court.
Business
Response:
We have notified lenders and they will try to assist.
I am sorry for any issues. If you feel you need an attorney that is your right.
We apologize for not receiving your calls.
Please do understand we have been told by lender today that this process can take a while.
