While Maui Jim is reported to have excellent customer service, you can also have very poor experiences with themParticularly when it comes to prescription frames/lenses, as I did Just outside there year warranty period one of the lenses on my, over $700, frames cracked, right where the screw was mounted through it There was zero consideration on the part of Maui Jim that this could be a manufacture defect and absolutely no willingness to budge or offer any option other than paying another $500+ to replace the lenses If there was some obvious mis-use or handling, or I was significantly beyond the warranty period I would understand somewhat more But neither is the case Please be very wary, hesitant, should you consider purchasing prescription lenses
