Took months to supposedly replace sprocket but while I was gone they replaced the entire opener and replaced it with cheap model which was inferior On July 9, 2018, the owner came and told me he could replace the sprocket for $After a month of calling they sent a man to replace, without my knowledge, the entire opener taking mine awayThe opener was the cheapest model and mad a noise like a freight trainThe man also got my wife to issue him another check for $which totaled $500.95.They agreed to replace the opener with the next level and said I should receive a $refundI have since been told that the check would be issued and it never has despite numerous calls and messagesI feel I have been a victim of "bait and switch"They are liars and have been lying to me since July until this morning

Paid $for new springs that broke two weeks later with my car inside! The next day they still have not come and fixed it and my car is still stuck inside
This is only the second complaint in over 28 years concerning a free fan replacement, which is part of Radonaire's LIFETIME guarantee. Radonaire is the ONLY certified radon company in New York State to offer a 100% LIFETIME warranty (including fan). Radonaire has subcontracted with another...
company concerning radon fan replacements, and was under the impression that the fan was replaced months ago.I will personally replace their fan by the end of the week, and profusely apologize for any confusion.

Review: I purchased two mattresses from the [redacted] store. On the day of the delivery one of the mattresses had dirt on one side and half way along the bottom while the other was delivered without the box springs. We told the drivers that we would clean the one and if they could bring the box springs the next day that would be fine. As the truck was leaving I went out to close up the garage door and that is when I saw that the truck had leaked oil all the way up my driveway also leaving a couple of large puddle where it had stopped. I called the store the next morning and reported it to the manager. He told me that they would take care of it and that he would call me back with the email address so that I could send pictures. After a week when I did not hear back I called again to get the address. At that time I was told that manager was no longer there. That they were aware of the problem and it was being turned over to the insurance company and I would be hearing from them. Once again I did not hear anything so this time I went into the store. I talked to the now manager who gave me the email so that I could send the pictures. Another week went by and I went and got an estimate to have repairs to my driveway taken care of. I did finally get an email from the owner saying she did not think her truck could do this but that she would take care of the repairs to my driveway. I did not want to get into it with her, but I know it was her truck. I am home and I know who pulls into my drive. Also like I said I saw it there when her truck left and it was not there before they got there, as I had jus tbeen out in the drive taking my dogs out before they got here. I have a fairly new driveway and brand new pavers at the entry.
It has been almost 3 months and she is not getting back to me. She will not answer my emails or calls. She did call the company that I received an estimate from so I thought that she was going to take care of the repairs. Still no contact with me. I think this is very poor business practice. I never said anything about having to clean my new mattress or having to wait for my box springs. My driveway needs to be fixed. I know that the spots will never be completely gone on the concrete, however cleaning will make them less noticeable. I have ask her to pay for the driveway to be pressure washed and for the four damaged pavers to be replace. I really don't think that is to much to ask, her truck did the damage.Desired Settlement: I have an estimate for $390.00 to clean oil spots and pressure wash the driveway. Also included is $205.00 to replace the 4 pavers that are damaged and can not be cleaned. I would like this work to be done and her are her insurance to take care of the expense. Total $595.00
Review: On 9-1-13 I purchased a Tempur-Pedic Mattress, box, mattress cover and delivery from Mattress Firm in Covington, LA. The unit was a floor model and we were told that the mattress carried a full warranty for 25years. In January we noticed a sag in the mattress and I started having back pain when I would get up. In February I called Mattress firm and was told that I would have to contact Tempur-Pedic direct about the warranty.I contacted the service center at [redacted] and was sent a guideline as to how to take the picture's and E Mail them to Tempur-Pedic. We took the pictures and sent them in. The Claim # was [redacted]. After the factory looked over the pictures we were told that the mattress did have a sag to excess of 3/4" and the lady was going to start the procedure to replace the mattress.Later that day I received a call from Tempur-Pedic and was informed that inorder to receive the warranty I would have to pay an additional $1700.00. I contacted Mattress Firm and talked to [redacted] who was the sales person and also the store manager. I told him what Tempur-Pedic said and he said that they were wrong and he would call and get it straight.[redacted] call me back later and said that he was wrong and in order to receive the warranty I would have to pay the $1700.00. The reason given by both parties was I did not pay full price (I paid $1891.17 and $129.41 for the pad.)and therefore I have to make up the difference $1700.00 in order to get the warranty.I was told by Mr [redacted] that I would have the "Full Warranty"Desired Settlement: I would like to have either Tempu-Pedic or Mattress Firm refund my purchase amount,$2020.58, or provide a replacement mattress of equal value. I would prefer that it not be a Tempur-Pedic.
Review: April 24, 2013 I purchased a queen mattress and a queen mattress set from Mattress World for $1465.85. It was not be a month after I received delivery that the pillow top on my mattress started to punch up. I called the store in [redacted] where I purchased the product and this is where all the crap started. The manager there was giving me the run around for almost a month and finally someone came to look at the mattress and determined it was defective. It took another 2 months before a replacement was delivered. Within a month this mattress did the same thing but only worse. There was an indentation in the middle of the bed where I sleep that almost looked like someone folded the mattress in half. I called the VP of the company and the mattress was replaced with a different brand. This took another month because my paper work kept getting moved to the bottom of his pile of things to do. I received my new mattress in April 5th and there is a problem with this one. When I sit or lay or move on the mattress it makes a noise which it should not do. I called Joe a week later and he was putting a service order and I have yet to hear from anyone and it is almost a month since I called them . My son's mattress was to be replaced because the pillow top was doing the same as mine but when they came to replace it they wouldn't because there was a small stain on the mattress. The mattress is defective and will be disposed of anyway so why not replace it?Desired Settlement: I am not sure how I want this handled. I am very dissatisfied with this company and would like a refund but at the same time I can't afford another mattress or set for the price I paid for both. I just want the mattress replaced at their expense and a guarantee that this will be the last time. I think 3 mattresses going on 4 in a year is a little ridiculous. The man I was dealing with is Joe and he is the supposed VP of the company. I cannot get a name of anyone higher than him to call.

Review: In July 2012, I paid close to $1700 for 2 twin XL mattresses. They started to sag within 6 months of my kids sleeping on them. I went to the store (Robinson) and they upgraded the mattresses, but charged me an additional $295 for the 2nd set. They never even allowed me to try out what they were ordering. This set is also sagging worse than the 1st set. The dip is a 2" dip right in the middle of the mattress. The mattresses are junk. My kids only weigh 130 and 160 pounds. Can you imagine if someone heavier slept on these? My kids also said these are the worst mattresses that they have slept on. My mattress is 30 years old and does not have the slightest dip. Also, the cost of 2 twin XL mattresses should not be $2,000. What happened to lowest price or its free! I have had it with Mattress World and these junk mattresses. I just want my money back, but they are refusing to give me my money back. They want to order me another set of mattresses and of course, charge me for delivery. I know from reading other reviews that this will continue. I am not satisfied with the product and refuse to keep going through this hassle. I am under so much stress over this and I cannot take going through this! I just want a refund. My kids would rather sleep on the floor than on these mattresses.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund. I charged the mattresses and have paid $1293 so far on the bill. I have all of my receipts of payment. I believe that I still owe around $1900 including interest. I did not pay it off sooner because I was having issues with the mattresses. I want a full refund of $1293 and the remainder of my charge credited. I should not have to pay for these awful mattresses. This is ridiculous!

Response:
We are sorry that you are having issues with your mattresses. We are aware that this is the second time in which there has been a warranty issue with your mattress sets. Although rare, a customer experiencing problems with their mattresses more than once does sometimes happen. Fortunately, the mattresses you purchased are covered by a twenty year manufacturer's warranty. We are more than happy to replace your mattresses with new ones. We would even allow you to select another manufacturer and we will waive all transportation fees. We are however, unable to refund you for a purchase made two years ago.
Sincerely,
Mattress World

Review: My issue is that I made a mattress purchase at Mattress World-The Pointe Robinson on Memorial Day weekend 2014. I made approved credit card payment for our selected mattress but as the business did not have that mattress on hand they would have to order it and would take approx 1 week. The mattress did come and even a little earlier than a week but we did not have the means on the date of notification that the mattress was in to come and pick it up until we could make arrangements to do so. For financial purposes we decided that the purchase was not currently practical and asked (without ever having possession of the mattress to cancel the purchase. The store agreed claimed to submit the cancellation for refund to corporate for approval. We were told we would receive a call from corporate that the refund was accepted or not accepted. Two week went by with no call and I went to the purchase location and inquired. They claimed to have not heard anything yet but would be in touch/ or corporate would be in touch to inform us of the decision. Two weeks went by without hearing anything and so I went to the store of purchase and explained I still had not received any call from anyone re: mattress and they responded that they had in-fact just received approval for the refund but the paper work had not yet been addressed and that the refund was in progress as soon as they could get to it. The following weekend I again went to the store to speak with the representative that I spoke with the week before but he was out of the office but that I could call him the next day. He infact called me that evening to get my credit card number that was used for the purchase and that the refund was in process and I should see it soon. Now, a week later (mid July, approx 56 days later the credit has still not been applied to my credit account.) I informed them on their website message system that I would be pursuing a Revdex.com report if the refund was not made and here I am, this iss my complaint. Currently Unresolved!Desired Settlement: Promptly Refund to the credit card used for the purchase price I paid $499.00on 5/26/14. Th credit card information is on the signed purchase agreement and also provided over the phone.

We are sorry for the delay in the processing of this refund. We did receive the credit card information on July 16th and it was submitted. Ours records show that the refund was processed on July 23rd. The refund was issued to a MC for $499.00. Again, sorry for the delay. We hope this resolves your issue.

Review: Mattress World promised me $50.00 for the incovienance of having to drive to their store to pick up the right bed frame that they did not deliver with the mattress as promised. I then in turn had to pick up the bed frame, and set the bed up myself. I am not a young man, but I agreed to do this for $50.00. (promised by [redacted] I purchased this mattress in January, and have called the salesman, [redacted] numerous times, he said he would call back, never did. I called and emailed [redacted] numerous times, said he'd call back, never did. I have called [redacted] in charge of check writing, she said she would take care of it. PROMISED she would take care of it. Never did. This company wants me to just go away. I NEVER WILL, as I have told them repeatedly. I will get the $50.00 dollars they promised me. It's the principal now, not the money. I am dealing with a bunch of liars from the same company, that I feel, they think I will just go away. I WILL NOT let this go. As I have stated in the email I sent them. WHY ARE THEY DISMISSING ME AFTER SPENDING $2,000.00 IN THEIR STORE. I need help, please help me bring this company to justice. If they have wronged me, I think of how many others they have wronged. You have my contact information, please contact me, and let's get this resolved. I do not want to do something I may regret, but they have pushed me to my limit.Desired Settlement: $50.00 dollars that I was promised by[redacted], for driving to the store in a foot of snow, in late January. Promised for the inconieance of putting this frame in a car, with no help from them. I expect this promise to be kept. If I need to proceed with legal. Please advise how to do so. Or I feel obligated to take matters into my own hands. It's the principal. I don't need $50.00 dollars. I need to make this company know, they cannot lie to people. Not just one of their employees. All.

Review: I purchased my first mattress from them on 12/29/11 and within 9 months the mattress had a large depression in it. They required that I pay for an inspection and they replaced the mattress. It too many phone calls to make this happen and most of my calls were ignored or returned. Since that replacement I had another faulty mattress with a similar problem. Went through the entire process again. They were not apologetic in any manner. This past fall I had ANOTHER mattress delivered and as of today it has a problem. I had the inspection done and was told that there is nothing wrong with my frame or box spring but they will not replace until the depression is over 1 1/2 inches - it is close. I have to sleep in the bed until it gets worse. Their defense is that they have to follow the manufactures warranty to replace. I did not buy the mattress from the manufacture - I bought it from them. I would just like the $1284 that I paid so I can take my business elsewhere. That is THREE faulty mattress since 12/11. This is a huge inconvenience to me. Clearly they are not that concerned about that as they have told me I have to wait until it gets worse.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I would like to take my business elsewhere.

Response:
We are very sorry that your current mattress set is not meeting your expectations. We do value you as a customer and would like to assist you with your issue. The mattress set that you have is warrantied by the manufacturer. We must have an independent inspection done to verify that there is a warranty issue with the mattress. In this case it was deemed that the mattress was not defective. However, we would still like to assist you with the problem. We would like to replace the current mattress with a new one.
Sincerely,
Mattress World
Review: In April, 2013, we purchased a mattress that we were told was their "top selling mattress" It was a Simmons-Queen Aliyah and cost $600 (mattress only). Although my wife and I are of average weights 145# and weigh 135#, the mattress had body indentation within 6 months. When I called MW to complain, I was told that I had to pay $40 for an independent assessment. BUT, the mattress warranty only covered indents 1.5 inches in depth. REMEMBER, this mattress is 6 months old. Later, I explained our situation to [redacted], who sold us the mattress 6 mo. Ago. He asked that we come in and he would give us "credit" for our 6 mo. old mattress. That was the first of several lies. When we arrived at the store on Nov. 16, he showed us a mattress that sold as a set for $1599. Although he refused to tell us the regular price of only the mattress, he said that he could sell it to us for only $877, this included our $700 credit. Before we really did the math, my husband handed over his credit card and charged the $877. However, after doing the math, we figured if he was not really giving us any credit. If he had, that mattress should have only cost us $400+. Within 1 hour, we returned to MW and cancelled the order and asked for our credit card to be credited. Now the salesman explains that ONLY the business office can credit accounts and that it can only be done on Monday from the business office. Monday comes, I call the business office only to be told that [redacted], the Business Mgr doesn't work on Mondays or Tuesdays. Wednesday would be the first opportunity to credit our account. Wed, I call -- Guess what, [redacted] isn't in AND doesn't credit the account. Now it is Thursday. When we called to talk to [redacted] he just stepped out. These people are nothing but CROOKS. I have never seen such total disregard for customers and outright lying. We will get our $877. credit thanks to us paying by CC and the CC company has been informed of MWs shady practices. However, my advice is to avoid buying anything from Mattress World especially the one on McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. BTW, this company advertises that it is a family run business and has been in business for 60 years. If you google the company, this also is not true.Desired Settlement: We want our credit card credited for the full amount of $877.34. It is already 6 days that has not been done. This practice of the "business office" can only credit the amount is a sham. Even a dollar store can credit a refund. This credit should have been done on Saturday when we returned and requested a cancellation within 1 hour. I would also love for the salespeople to start telling the truth to their customers.

Response:
Regarding Complaint #[redacted]. We have spoken to Mrs. [redacted] this afternoon and resolved her issue. She had asked for a refund of $877.34 which we credited back to her Master Card today 11/21. She had already submitted her claim prior to our speaking with her today. She was credited immediately. Mrs. [redacted] was ultimately pleased with our handling of her issue. Her frustration was due to her inability to speak with the Sales Manager [redacted]. He is the person who handles these issues at Mattress World and has been out of the office due to a family issue since Saturday the 16th. He had only returned today the 21st and was just made aware of the situation this afternoon. He spoke with Mrs. [redacted] this afternoon and immediately resolved her issue. Since receiving this complaint from the Revdex.com he has reached out to Mrs. [redacted] again. She said that she was satisfied with the results today and would confirm that to the Revdex.com if needed. She admitted that she issued this complaint prior to speaking with [redacted].
Thank You,
