Review: I reserved and paid a deposit for a children's birthday party on 2/22/2015. When we and our guests arrived at the location, it was closed. We repeatedly called all numbers available and no one answered. We waited in front of the business for about half an hour before giving up. My son was devastated and spent much of the rest of his birthday crying. We (the parents) were embarrassed to have invited people to such a fiasco. We received a brief call from an employee later that day, explaining that they forgot to schedule anyone to work. I requested, both by phone and by e-mail, to be contacted by a manager or owner. They have not done so. They also have not refunded my deposit.Desired Settlement: I would like Mathobotix to:1. refund my full deposit.2. offer compensation for the wasted time and distress they caused us and our guests. I feel it would be appropriate to offer either a free party, or a gift certificate for each guest. 3. change their policies to make sure that future customers will be given an ATTENDED phone number to call in case of employee no-shows.
